(>) ARE AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDINGS DARK GREEN LETTERING ARE LINKSeVERYONE OF US IS HAVING AND DEALING WITH AN ONGOING CONVERSATION IN OUR HEADS. MOST OF US INTELLECTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THE DIALOGUE BUT FUNCTION AS IF WE'RE UNAWARE OF IT. ANYONE NOT INVOLVED IN "MANAGING" THE DIALOGUE GOING ON WITHIN THEMSELVES SHOULD SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP IMMEDIATELY. IF WE DO NOT TALK TO, OR HEAR OURSELVES HOW CAN WE EXPECT ANYONE ELSE TO LISTEN TO US? THE "VOICES" WE ENGAGE WITH, THOSE REPRESENTATIONS OF VERBAL EXCHANGES, ARE MORE THAN JUST OUR MENTAL GYMNASTICS OR PSYCHOLOGICAL GAMES OF PING PONG. WE "MAY" NOT AUDIBLY HEAR THEM, BUT WE EXCHANGE THOUGHTS WITH THEM CONSTANTLY. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE SHARED A THOUGHT WITH SOMEONE ELSE ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY HAD THE SAME IDEA? WHO ARE THEY? HOW DO WE RECOGNIZE THEM? DO WE REALLY WANT TO KNOW? WELL READ ON.... ALL THOUGHTS CARRY SOME LEVEL OF STRESS BUT ALL THOUGHTS ARE NOT STRESSFULWe should know that our minds, bodies, and thoughts are all connected. There is a harmony and order to their function. Homeostasis maintains their continuous coordinated interactions. Nothing exists, operates or stands in and of itself. Disorders disrupt the systematic functioning or neat arrangement of how we live. Every aspect of our connected existence plays at least two roles. Duality is a common theme in life and we should pay close attention to it. There are things we never find alone and certain things that only happen in two's. Trauma and disease are interrelated. Laughter and happiness congregate on the same street corner as does crying and sadness. Our sense of smell is so linked with our sense of taste that when it comes to eating, one is almost useless without the other. Physical and psychological stressors walk hand in hand even if we think they are unrelated. How we hold thought as memories plays into our daily perspective of life. Despite how difficult the events any of us faced as youths, it's never too late to have experiences of happiness in childhood even if its just in our imaginations. Life altering events can occur at any time through traumatic experiences both good and bad. The traumas we experience in life can be defined as any situation that presented itself juxtaposed to our perceived reality. This ongoing pandemic has emphasized this. The events that happen to us in life are recorded in the brain from our perspective "as is." These memories are retained both the psychic and emotional energy of their occurrences. Memories are powerful forms of energy and have the ability to initiate the exact same powerful feelings by recalling the formula of those stored emotions. As humans we generally attach meaning to every situation and store it in our heads as such, whether right or wrong. Although these memorized emotions are stored forever they do not have to be recalled in the "same" way or produce the same stresses they once did. Our egos, which can be defined as our core sense of self can rescue us from "bad" memories. Thoughts, once in memory form, can be engineered to yield pleasurable energy (hormones) and give new insightful meanings to the story of the experience. It all depends on how we tell the story! DESCRIBING RATHER THAN DEFINING THOUGHTWE EXIST IN A UNIVERSE OF TYPES AND FORMS. ONE OF THE FORMS ENERGY TAKES IS THOUGHT FORM. THERE IS NO LIMIT TO OUR IMAGINATION. "IMAGINARY" TYPES OF THOUGHTS ALLOW US TO FORM, FRAME AND CHARACTERIZE THINGS WE MAY NOT UNDERSTAND. OUR IMAGINATIONS CAN CREATE "VIRTUAL IMAGES" THAT GIVE PHYSICAL FORM TO UNSEEN SUBSTANCES. MOST MONSTERS APPEAR HIDEOUS BECAUSE WE IMAGINE THEM TO BE THAT WAY. IF WE WERE TO DESCRIBE "FEAR" USING IMAGES, IT WOULD RESEMBLE A SAVAGE BEAST. WE GENERALLY FEEL SCARED WHEN WE DEAL WITH THE UNCERTAINTY OF FRIGHTENING SIGHTs AND SOUNDs. CAN WE DEFINE THINKING? IS IT FEASIBLE TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO TRY? IS THOUGHT SIMPLY ANOTHER FORM OF ENERGY AND POWER? IS THINKING ITSELF A "CREATIVE GIFT" GIVEN BY GOD TO MAN, MINUS THE ABILITY TO FORM MATTER? THE WORD "CREATION" DOES NOT APPLY THE SAME WAY TO MAN AS IT DOES TO GOD. WITH GOD, TO CREATE MEANS TO BRING INTO EXISTENCE OR CAUSE TO COME INTO BEING. WITH MAN, TO CREATE MEANS TO REARRANGE WHAT EXISTS BY CONTRIVING SOMETHING ELSE. ONLY GOD CAN ACTUALLY CREATE! PROCREATION IS HOW WE MULTIPLY. MAN "CREATES" SIMPLY BY FORMING, INVENTING OR MAKING SOMETHING FROM SOMETHING ELSE. GOD CAN CREATE MATTER FROM WORDS BIRTHED BY THOUGHT. ONLY A TRUE "MIRACLE OF CREATION" CAN PRODUCE SOMETHING FROM NOTHING. WOULD IT BE FAIR TO SAY THAT GOD CREATED THE EARTH BUT HE MADE ADAM AND EVE? DO WE CREATE OR MAKE THOUGHT? DO WE ACTUALLY CREATE THOUGHTS FROM SCRATCH? TAKING CONTROL OF THE CONVERSATIONS & MEMORIES![]() The running conversations we all are having in our minds is a part of the "universal chatter" produced by a daily chorus of communications across multiple realms, strata's and dimensions. Thought is the energy that powers the universe, words are the manifestation of that energy and conversation presents it to us on an ongoing basis. Language is often taken for granted. Only humans use language. Language is as unique an attribute/tool as we'll ever find among creatures great and small. One overlooked fact about language is how much of it we use talking to ourselves as opposed to talking to others. During our developing years, as we practiced communicating with others we simultaneously accelerated the ability to talk to ourselves. It takes less words and less time to talk to ourselves then to others. It is important to know that the discussions we actually have with ourselves every day and the decisions we arrive at generally have more parties involved in making those choices than what we may be aware of. Talking to ourselves involves the same type of effort as talking to others, but uses less energy! How private are our thoughts and conversations? Are verbal expressions monitored by spiritual entities? Can spirits eavesdrop on our conversations? How do our thoughts and verbal expressions remain confidential? Memories live and work in our heads. Conversations involve merging old thoughts (memories) with new thoughts (ideas). Where the new thoughts come from and how the old thoughts were developed is hard to determine. All thoughts eventually become memories. How we regard and relive them indicates how we processed them. Thinking is a developed skill and how we process thought determines how skillful we are at thinking. Controlling thought is a topic in and of itself. What we do know is that thought must be controlled. Thought is the power behind decisions, motives and actions. Uncontrolled thoughts produce mass shootings, insurrections, hate speech and violence. Thought is not static, it has plasticity and develops dynamically especially when combined with other thoughts. Thinking habits are formed over time and like any other habit they become ingrained in our ways of doing things whether right or wrong. Some of our thinking habits work spontaneously and we barely think about them. Other thinking habits are so intense that we repeatedly and unnecessarily ponder thoughts to death. Without following a thoughts conclusion and making a change if necessary, we coddle the very (spirit) behaviors holding us back. The "Law of attraction" operates in the realm of thought too. The patterns we "form" for thinking attract the circumstances we deal with. Thought is creative. We create the conditions that we find ourselves in based on our previous habits of processing thought. This is why some people repeatedly find themselves in the same type of situations, good or bad. Practicing sound thinking habits result in sound outcomes rather then chaotic situations. Transitioning thought to better manage it requires work. Thoughts about thoughts require scrutinizing beliefs and beliefs are thoughts we don't want to change. The cycle is continuous. The dialogue never stops. The daily bombardment of data, facts and information is overwhelming our capacity to deal with it. IMAGINARY LIVING AND THE METAVERSE IS NOT LIVING IN REALITY![]() Many of us are "living in our thoughts" while attempting to exist in the real world. Living in a fantasy world and perceiving things as we imagine or would like them to be allows us to avoid and escape reality. This catch-22 existence becomes a self fulfilling prophecy that blinds us and prevents us from "living in reality." It takes the raw truth to break us out of that self defeating thinking cycle. Thoughts contain "desires." As a matter of fact thoughts "desire;" and many of them start out that way. Life teaches us that we can't always get what we want. Such a thought can be frustrating. Frustrating thoughts produce feelings of anxiety that contaminate other thoughts and vex the thinking process. Our continual attachment to accumulated and compounded thoughts can be dangerous. When our thoughts no longer provide solutions we tend to come up with actions that we think will. This is one reason why so many people today are "losing it." This also contributes to today's mental health crisis. Please remember, thoughts contain "desires" and holding on to unfulfilled desires is like believing in an already broken promise. Spirits desire. Our flesh and our minds desire. Many of us act like a powerful adult elephant bound by a feeble chain. An adult elephant can easily break any chain tied around its leg, but is unaware of it. Those of us who fail to break free of pampering and petting our child-like thinking will remain controlled and limited for life. We are what we eat and think about. We're encouraged daily to monitor what we eat, but what about what we think? The two greatest practices we can form to control our thinking diet, is to choose what we concentrate on in meditation, and to limit what we expose ourselves to by discrimination. Sensory overload is just like overeating. Not being able to properly process information or digest food forms unhealthy conditions in our brains and bodies. By design, our so·ma and souls must store or burn off excess. Sometimes we store what we should burn, and burn what we need to store. What we decide to discard or keep is determined by our thinking. Whatever we put and hold in our stomachs affects the entire body. Whatever we put and hold in our heads affects our minds. The thoughts we deprive ourselves of thinking are generally more important then the garbage we fill our minds with from entertainment and mass media. Learning how to think is an important skill. Critical thinking should have been the first thing our parents taught us. Unfortunately they were probably too busy filling our heads with the perspectives and propaganda of their own beliefs. This is no rub against our parents. This is the reality of genetics, environment and traditions. Thinking must be controlled. Keep in mind that it is our thinking that develops our habits and dictates our behavior. Our minds give access to every aspect of the human experience. Control is key! That control must be taught, learned and transferred. The responsibility of "THINKING" is a part of CRITICAL THINKING! It's difficult to think critical thoughts without feeding our minds critical information to think about. We must be examples in our thoughts and thinking. Our children may not know what we are thinking, but we can expose them to our decision making, basic logic and the results they bring, good or bad! This is the time to have standards that teach our children how to think. It is far better and easier to mentor thoughts than to monitor the thinking of others with all that's going on. WHO ARE WE TALKING WITH?![]() Words are spirit. We live in a world of forms. Words describe and give form to everything. When we understand the forms operating around us and what formed them, we can begin to understand how to deal with them. When we are blind to and or ignorant of the substance of any phenomena we are usually powerless against it. To exist in any realm we need a body or form to function in or through. Like a fish out of water so are natural tools and weapons within a spiritual arena. To operate in the physical realm we need a physical form like our bodies. To operate in a spiritual realm we must manage in spirit. "Words" bridge the gap between our natural and spiritual worlds. "Words" are momentary static depictions of dynamic interactive historical and/or ongoing events. Words describe and spiritually capture the energy of "what is" without changing the event. "Words" are spirit. There are a multitude of conversations, dialogues and exchanges constantly travelling across that bridge. The discussion we have between us and our-self differs from the ones we have with us and our conscious thinking. Talking to ourselves in our heads differs from speaking against, or out loud to, the people, personalities, spirits and systems influencing our behaviors. "It's all in our heads" as the saying goes, but what exactly is "it?" It is the battle, the conflict, the fight, the struggle and the war. It's always been a war of words. At least that's how it always starts out. The weapons are words, the battleground is in our minds and the combatants are the devil, our own flesh and our own world. We are not alone. Rarely do we talk only to or with ourselves. Many of us need to be constantly reminded that life operates through exchanges. Not only do we exchange air with plants, we exchange thought with experiences. Decisions are the offspring of thought. Many of us who have trouble making decisions or sticking to decisions already made, probably have psychological problems and may be under spiritual attack. All of the decisions we make are tied to the integrity of the word we give. We are only as good as our last fulfilled "thought of promise." The "natural" private monologue we think we're having is actually an open "spiritual" dialogue we may not be aware of. We are constantly going back and forth in conversations with our friends, peers and adversaries. The sparring within these conversations can range from friendly to formidable. Banter, clever exchanges and debate require quick thinking and precise interjections. Some people do not like to engage in these type of conversations. The jousting back and forth, interruptions and what we call "cutting someone off" is considered fair game in this venue. These disruptive tactics are intended to hijack thinking. When we're battling in the arena of thought, "cutting someone off" is actually "HIJACKING THE THOUGHT." Our minds also order and store thoughts. Maybe, the people suffering with alzheimers or dementia are in a thinking battle. Some dress their wounds with bandages of elaborate but logical narratives to complement their thinking. Some "assisted living" and "elder care" facilities become breeding grounds for people who have succumbed to the pain and no longer fight for their thoughts. We are not as skilled or as smart in communicating through our language skills as we think. Whether thinking is hijacked, thought inserted or concentration interrupted we can MANAGE it. We all need to stand up and fight for our thoughts. One of the keys for control is to direct the flow of thinking and the attached thoughts coming and going. We filter what's coming in through what we hear. We sanction what's going out by what we say. Even for people with chronic mental issues stimulating and challenging the mind is paramount. Knowing that there is a war going on allows us to choose the right side. When we are in a dialogue with devilish energy it is important not to lean to our own understanding. Our wisdom and language skills are no match for this adversary. A careful examination of the Bible's rendition of the fall of man should reveal this to us. The dialogue between the serpent and the woman clearly illustrates the play on words. When we change our minds, is it that we actually came to a different decision on our own or did something change our mind? We are all "being attacked and influenced" from all sides by unseen but not unknown natural and spiritual forces. Whether the source of these attacks are generic and traditional, worldly and systemic or psychic and spiritual, they must be identified to battle against them. Not understanding this hinders our ability to fight and maintain control of the thoughts we allow to feed our minds. Isolating ourselves, ignoring what's happening or staying secluded is not a good long term strategy; spirits have no boundaries. Eventually, as soldiers, we must wage this battle from an aggressive, offensive attacking perspective in order to keep the ground we've gained in our victories. WHY MUST WE TALK?![]() Words are instruments. Ideas are birthed by thought and developed by thinking about them. The inner dialogue we all have is part of this. Our internal monologue is the result of certain brain mechanisms that cause us to “hear” ourselves talking to ourselves in our heads without actually speaking and forming sounds. Our consciousness is absorbed by our thinking. We are being bombarded with more and more mental stimulation. There is a dialogue constantly going on in and throughout our bodies. If we are not in charge of it, something or someone else is. Taking control of thoughts camouflaged as conversations and memories is a vital part of our psychological and spiritual health. We often measure our children's development by their verbal skills. From birth to about 3 months babies communicate through sounds and expressions without any real language skills. A baby's first words are generally spoken between 12 and 18 months and from then on their command of communicating their thoughts becomes a measure of their progress. Our thought processes are influenced by many things including our education, environment, experiences and genetics along with our intellectual and sensory faculties. There's a lot of competition for positions of influence in our brains. Although we have the best seat in the house to hear what our thoughts are saying to us; we may not know how to dictate to our brains just what we want our thoughts to be. There's more to controlling our thinking then just plain ole will power. As thoughts pass through our minds we have the authority and privilege to comply with or defy them. The human will has authority over all thought and as such it is at the center of the battleground for our minds. Talking serves more then just social needs. The importance of speech as a sensual component to hearing and an emotional component to feeling should remind us of how powerful words can be. It is the thoughts communicated by the words used, which carry the spirit or true meaning of our verbal expressions. Talking through language is a gift unique to man. Not only do we have to speak "to" and "with" the voices in our head; sometimes we have to speak "against" the voices in our heads. As we progress in life it is important to realize that we should be gradually evolving from self consciousness to a shared consciousness. No man is an island physically, psychologically or spiritually. The maturity continuum is meant to bring us from total dependent babies to independent adolescence and finally to societal interdependent adults. Life is based on a built around "exchange." Everything must exchange something or nothing will be able to affect anything else! Our innate need to socialize requires us to share thoughts and ideas. The voices we listen to and exchange with must be scrutinized and vetted. We should not believe everything we think! As free moral agents we've been given authority over thought. This means we also have access to "thought's" realm. The realm of thought contains thinking. We must understand that the "prince of the power of the air" also has access to this realm. Many of us fail to understand how the association between our thoughts, our words and our behaviors correspond with our iniquities, our sins and our resulting transgressions. Without pure thinking we are prone to manifesting thoughts spawned through our inherited iniquities. These unclean thoughts become tainted ideas which we convert into actions we justify. Many people like Saul of Tarsus, who latter became the great apostle Paul, believe that the deeds they do are in the name of the Lord and in the will of God. What we consider as righteous is often just filthy rags. Iniquity is deceitful and works at the core of our thinking. WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?![]() Words have life. Some of the most challenging thoughts to deal with are those that deny or fail to fully deal with reality. Believing in God or at least a god is a concept we expect most people to embrace. However it is not what we believe that always makes the difference. It is sometimes what we don't believe, even though we should, that matters most. For instance: not believing in God or the devil has the same kind of consequences that come with not believing in electricity or gravity. Ignoring or defying them not only leaves us ignorant but also vulnerable to their effects. Having an "inner dialogue" is one thing, "hearing voices" is another. Although there may be some similarities, this post does not directly address paranoia or schizophrenia. We must first be able to establish dialogue in order to interact with thought. Dialogue is a result of voluntary two way exchange. There are forces that also trespass in our brains. Our understanding of the thinking process must allow us to see "thought" as more than just the actual "idea itself." In many cases our use of words do not accurately communicate the spirit of the thoughts we have. Before we ever learned language skills as babies we communicated more "psychically" through expressions, gestures and noises. Words can be used as either crude or precision tools depending on how we wield them. Words can be spoken and/or written as preservatives to thoughts. Experiences transformed into words are preserved in spirit and can be relived again and again by others through simply telling the story. All "true" stories have life. Their words actually become the representation of the event that only that story can revisit. Both words and pictures can capture the spiritual dimension of their subject matter. Together they can reveal truth in such a transparent way that no lie can stand. Most people are unaware that lying on camera in this day and time and at this stage of history is futile. We must understand that words are living expressions of thought. Not only can words depict, they can also deceive. We scrutinize life by interpreting the meaning of our thoughts. Our thoughts include discussions with opposing forces that do not have our best interest at heart. We need the wisdom to conduct multiple conversations with the untrustworthy participants trespassing in our heads. Our private dialogues are in need of spiritual scrutiny. Think twice! Having "second thoughts" allows us to reevaluate first ones. Thoughts are usually embraced from one of two realms of expressions. We can adopt a thought from an emotional physic level of energy or we can embrace it from a conclusive logical/rational position. There are standards for thinking too! Even high minded thoughts must be scrutinized for the "spirit of their intentions." "Sanctimonious spirits" will always base their thinking off of legal arguments. Think again, talking is "thoughts dialogue" for acting out an intention. Having conversations about our thoughts sharpens them. When thoughts are challenged their words alone must stand up to the scrutiny of their expression. Many of us have gotten besides ourselves in our thinking. The dialogue of our inner debates are outdated. Some of us are employing the same ole rationale and offering up the same ole arguments used with former beliefs we no longer defend. Many of us are still dancing with the devil and think we can end the party when we want to. WHO DO WE THINK WE ARE??? Let's start questioning everything beginning with ourselves. If we see life in a conspiratorial way the conspiracy will come to pass. When we see life from its informative pinnacles life will reveal more of its riches the more we inquire. |
