see the problem form a prognosis: devise a plan to practice & promote prosperity.
Television, salt, sugar, sex, shopping, sleeping, sports, gambling, gaming, gossiping, hoarding, holding, eating, entertainment, drugs, violence and other so called dependencies are some of the addictions we deal with in today's world. Naturally the metrics we use to evaluate ourselves are biased. "It's not that bad." "What about him and her or this and that?" We tend to exercise our "always ready to defend our-self" defensive mode. "Better than," does not necessarily mean good, It is simply a comparison or measure by some standard we set. Of course "All lives matter," but that does not call attention to the distinct crisis facing a particular segment of our society! When the ,most insignificant lives matter, all lives matter too! Violence is an addictive reaction to frustration when the perception is that there is no other way of resolution. It is important to advocate on behalf of those who appear to have no voice of their own. All citizens should embrace the concept that majority rule should never supersede minority rights. Glorifying aggressive behavior, beatings, brute force, or any other type of violence depicted whether by cops or criminals, in sports or entertainment penetrates into minds and permeates the consciousness of all exposed to it. The civil rights movement focused on the rights of those systemically denied the freedoms of our society. The women's liberation movement was specifically designed to bring issues women faced to the consciousness of our nation. Even the gay rights movement brought attention to the plight of the LGBT community way before the acronym ever existed. The history of our nation tarnishes the words of our constitution and bill of rights. It is fortunate that the consciousness of the black culture has been one of forgiveness and reconciliation. We should shudder at the thought of how things could have escalated out of control during this present crisis. Who else was better suited to identify with the contrasting positions and offer consolation to all parties involved than President Obama. Maybe the wisdom of the electorate foresaw the need for new diversity in the oval office. Knowing that history tends to repeat itself should serve as a warning to all! Without a black president, attorney general, various police chiefs, and other people of color in positions of authority where would we be? We are now at a new consciousness crossroad that wears the disguise as a racial, economic and political crisis. However we submit that we suffer mostly from a lack of ethical and moral integrity. Injustice against any person regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or any belief is a mark against all humanity. When all people embrace this thinking we create a culture of unity regardless of diversity. It is not as much a fight for individual causes as it is a fight for a collective consciousness. Addictions to opinions, views and positions are some of the worst disorders we face. Whether it is political, religious or cultural, we must recognize the condition to deal with it. If we marginalize our addiction to detrimental dependencies we become fixed in our minds, stunt our growth, stop evolving and seal our fate. Foolish pride is simply foolish. There are many points to be made, argued and debated on both sides of any spectrum. Anyone can hold fast to their view and take a stance. There once was a time when everyone believed the world was flat. We must open our ears and eyes simultaneously with our minds. It takes a real strength of character to admit to an error in action or thinking. There are spirits lurking behind the scenes influencing division among us! We must find and hope to continually find our own errors as we evolve. It is possible to be so heavenly minded and no earthly good. It is possible to be so legally minded and not socially sensitive. Our behaviors and attitudes are interconnected across the full gamut of our existence. If there exists a problem in diet, finances, organization or social interaction it is a sign of a lack of balance in our lives. As we've stated before and reiterate again, we are spiritual beings in human bodies with intellectual minds. It falls in that order! Let's not point fingers at the drug addicts, the alcoholics, obesity or poverty. Look at their conditions and see them as individuals suffering from a disease. At some level we are all guilty of behaviors that are closed minded or apathetic. Looking away or ignoring the problems only means that it will wax worse. There is no true rational for ignorance, only twisted logic that perpetuates our worsening conditions. We must address our individual faults and shortcomings in a manner that publicly depicts the new posture achieved. Error and/or evil can only flourish when good women and men keep silent. The culture and consciousness of society declares what is acceptable and allowed. It reaches beyond the rule of law. There is an intangible aspect to it that can somewhat be defined as an invisible force energy or spirit that rules and restrains attitudes and behaviors. It begins in each home, expands to every community, encompasses a nation and can reach the world. "To make the change we want to see that the change must first begin in me."

This is a summary of the session from the Technology Transitions Work-space held on July 10, 2016. NINE INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED AND PARTICIPATED.Let's face it, order is not accidental. Either there is an author, force, energy, plan, purpose and power behind life; or its just a random, arbitrary, indiscriminate and haphazard occurrence of events that operate without connection or control. Nothing happens in a vacuum except creation. Everything that exists is partially defined by its relationship to everything else. Is it possible that our individual freedom of thought, expressions and actions considered personal choice effects more then just ourselves? Does not the operation of the universe effect all the species within it? Isn't it obvious that there are other realms besides the one we exist in? It is not unusual to acknowledge the existence of spirit. Both religion and superstition have a spiritual component. Our belief in such a realm may be impacted by experiences, indoctrination or other non-empirical evidence. Most energy is invisible. Light travels in waves and is the only form of energy visible to the human eye. Gravity, magnetism, warmth, cold, wind, electricity, pressure, sound and radio waves are all evidenced by their physical manifestations but cannot be seen. An idea has no physical form until it is expressed verbally, embraced in our invisible minds and acted upon. History has shown us that a thought or point of view transmitted from a single individual can influence, contaminate and/or permeate the consciousness of multitudes. It is impossible to kill a thought or an idea. We may refute, reject or suppress them by burning books and murdering people but the idea can live on and inspire a nation. All of creation is a manifestation of spiritual energy exercised in the natural realm of existence. Whether we believe in or acknowledge a source or originator of that manifestation makes no difference. The creation is the evidence of the creator. All perceptible existence must have a source of origin, It is undeniable. If we can identify with the "power of words" to cause mental anguish, the "power of stress" to cause physical illness and the "power of weather" to affect our mood; surely we can relate to the "power of speech" to create matter. Although we "ARE" spiritual beings we tend to operate in the realm or state we perceive ourselves to be in. No physical evidence or logical reasoning has power to change an embraced belief. What a fool believes he see's, no wise man has the power to reason away. The things we embrace that "appear" to be, regardless of fact, seemingly feel better then believing in invisible forces. Some of our beliefs arise from illogical conclusions not facts. Only enlightenment can conquer embraced deception. Awareness precedes illumination. Our familiar beliefs create credible, even if incorrect, comfort zones. The lowest hanging fruit is the first to be picked. Meaning the simplest solutions get first consideration. This may be why we pay so little attention to our spiritual faculties. We were birthed as spiritual beings but instead of nurturing it we abandoned it. We primarily focus on touch, taste, smelling, seeing and hearing, our visible tangible sensory faculties. We use our intellectual invisible intangible faculties like perception, reason, intuition, memory, will and imagination but they work in the background. When we bring them to the forefront we become in a better balance with the universe. Remember all people are spiritual beings having a human experience though a physical body with their intellectual minds. THERE IS A BATTLE TO WAGE AND WIN. Because spiritual topics come with a broad range of interpretations and definitions people tend to pick and choose the belief that best suits them. Metaphysics is the study of what lies beyond the material and/or observable. It is the science that addresses invisible things that lie beyond natural perception. It stands to reason that there are opposites and opposing forces in nature and many other aspects of life. In physics there are negative and positive charges. In math we learn to check addition with subtraction and multiplication with division. We know that if there is an up there is a down, if there is wet, dry must exist. The preponderance of evidence strongly suggests that the substance of anything is validated by the existence of its polar opposite. This logical deduction transcends ordinary observed phenomena and applies to consciousness, forces, energy and spirit. This acknowledgement creates a duty to act upon it and leaves us responsible for the influence we have on the universe. If there is a God then there might be an antagonist. If there is not a God then we must take the responsibility of acting in that stead and creating the rule of law along with the morality that it is founded upon. The natural and spiritual are connected to one another. Although many spiritual applications are unique and seem counter-intuitive, they may only appear that way because we haven't pondered their relationship with the rest of life. On the natural side of life we see that opposites attract. On the spiritual vibe of life we see that likes attract. Birds of a feather flock together, thick as thieves or different as night and day give expression to this dichotomy. SPIRITUAL VIBRATIONS SPAN NATURAL BARRIERS Take notice of the effect produced from the presence of different individuals. The atmosphere has a spirit or feeling that is unique to the vibe of the people within. This is why we get different interpretations of the exact same word or deed from two distinct sources. The spirit (force) is the personification of energy that permeates any environment. Everything we say or do affects the collective consciousness of the universe! Being a leader at any level whether in a household, school, club, church or government shapes the nature & climate of circulated acceptable thought and conduct. Whether appointed, elected or inherited; rulers, leaders or those in power may feel that their governing sovereignty comes through the power of legal authority. Having the courts, police or military at their disposal emboldens them. The spiritual side of life instructs us that a leaders power is imparted through the power of moral authority. The greatest leaders in history attracted followers by their standards and beliefs they were willing to die for. Jesus, Mohammed, Gandhi, and King, to name a few, held no political office but led millions. The real truth is that those who serve and submit rule. Read "The Beatitudes" to get a perspective of this unorthodox principle. We should strive to be the best "me" we can be. When any individual attempts to conform every aspect of their being to the so-called norms of society they loose their individuality. Expression creates! Suppressed expression hides by diminishing and in doing so builds enough pressure for an explosion. Any predominate consciousness perpetuates an effect that affects us all. Any attempt to develop attributes outside of who we really are inside is counterproductive and creates conflict in us. When we follow the predominate consciousness and opinions of the day we perpetuate them. If the thoughts, trends and things of society appeal to us, we subconsciously promote them. A fulfilled life does not require an abundance of material possessions. The mindset perpetuated through the multiple form of entertainment media including internet and television programs, movies and some gaming glorify false values. Our consciousness absorbs the lies we entertain. A lie can only live through the expression we give it. Without expressing it the lie becomes dormant and dies. Our culture venerates conflict and combat. Greed is not good! Competition is not collaborative or cooperative. Accomplishments in sports, although inspiring, is not where our role models should come from. There is no such thing as a sports "hero!" Our culture idealizes too many situations that create deleterious scenarios. Try reciting the lyrics below to the melody of the song "Royals" by Lorde BREAK THE CHAINS It's time to break out of the mold It don't take money, cars or things to be happy And now the lies have been ex-posed those chills and thrills are really crappy. That's why we're talkin' bout Knockouts, slam dunks, touch downs in the end zones Gold rings, fast cars, water on a cell phone, really guys, It's only pride and candy for our eyes. Why do we follow the Actors, singers, late night entertainers Athletes, sponsors, products that retain us. Yes it's true. But what they really do for you? The time has come to be truthful...Truthful. That's the thing we really need. It's time to part with all the greed. It is a simple rule to heed. Let this spirit just move ya...move ya. No more I but more of we. Together we'll rule...we'll rule, we'll rule, we'll rule.... In a world of harmony. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.....LET'S GET OUT OF OUR CORNERS.....TALK AND SHARE THE ROOM!!!
