see the problem form a prognosis: devise a plan to practice & promote prosperity.
We define a word as a "single distinct meaningful element of speech or writing, used with others (or sometimes alone) to form a sentence." Words however take on a much greater significance in life than most of us think. Cats "meow", cows "moo", pigs "oink", and dogs "bark". Similarly, bells and telephones "ring", mosquitoes "buzz", people who don't know the words to a song "hum", and chalk can "screech" across a blackboard. Thus the first words may have just been an attempt to echo the sounds that were heard. Google the term "onomatopoeia" to learn more along this line. No one knows exactly how language developed. Was it a gift from God as Genesis 2:20 implies? Perhaps the theories named "bow-wow, pooh-pooh, ding-dong, yo-he-ho, ta-ta or la-la" can explain it. Regardless of where, when or how language came about, all the words our minds project through speech present our internal thoughts expressed outwardly. Words actually represent us. We generally say what we mean but sometimes don't mean what we say. Continually refining our communicating skills is one of the most important things we can accomplish in this lifetime. So what are words and what are they made of? Words are symbols, placeholders and representatives. Words give our bodies a voice. Words frame what we interpret and seek to understand. They are not the things they depict but they are the essence and character of the mental substance that make thoughts into things. Words are the proclamation of the manifestations and experiences in our existence. In their raw form, words alone are inadequate vessels to "say" or portray actual events. So the phrase arises, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Our conversation directly correlates with the manifestations in our lives. We are first spiritual beings and as such produce spiritual fruit and offspring. Words are the outward expression of internal conception. In other words, once the eggs of our consciousness are fertilized by life's circumstances and conditions, the pregnant thoughts gradually grow within and are first evidenced as a baby bump. Each trimester strengthens and enlarges the offspring until finally a delivery of speech visibly manifests itself through words birthed in conversation and reinforced by action. Every word we use is linked with and collaboratively empowers any other adjoined words. Carefully consider all spoken words. Whatever we profess we acknowledge. Anything we confess we claim. The majority of our existence is negotiated through communication via conversation. Words are the life blood, the conduit and the pipeline for growth and exchange. Our words communicate our mood, disposition and attitude. Beyond our facial expressions and body language, our words or lack thereof highlight our state of being. Expressions of confidence, confusion or uncertainty permeate our everyday consciousness and conversations. Many of our words are not verbalized but continually cower in our thoughts protected by silence and reinforced through personal beliefs. These are the symptoms of self sabotage that manifest themselves through whatever we fear to share. There is a strong link and association with thoughts, words and actions; they cannot be separated. When we describe the characteristics of electricity we often quote Ohm's law as the standard formula describing the relationship of voltage, current and resistance. If we created some unique 3 part formulas regarding humans, we might use body, soul and spirit; creativity, consciousness & intelligence; or language, socialization and interdependence. Never-the-less no single characteristic functions separately or independently of the others no matter what it is called. Words are spirit, in the mouths of novices, uneducated, uninformed or unaware practitioners they can incite unwanted even chaotic reactions. Once they go out they cannot be taken back. They have a life of their own and can be weaponized for adversity or utilized for peace. From the first and earliest moments we learn to use them, we must regard their effect on us and others. They are creatures, we are their creators. We must control them and continually learn how to get the best out of them. Never speak without thought, post without concern, tweet without contemplation or complain without consideration.
