TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM![]() Before mankind ever became so intellectual and technical we were much more superstitious and spiritual. Traditional education has advanced our world and society in ways few could have anticipated. Although much of our progress has allowed us to achieve many wonderful advancements for mankind, the double-edged sword of development has somehow left a significant piece of our spiritual nature behind. A clinical analysis would reveal that our spiritual growth has been stunted. Science and technology is not new. The "technology of science" always has been and will continue to be at the forefront of mans evolution. Science is just a systematic arranged and organized body of knowledge about any subject and technology is simply the application of such knowledge for practical purposes. Neither science nor technology are confined to physics, electronics, machines or tangible matter. There is a science of spirit, an invisible empire of substance, the energy of life containing the glue that holds everything together. Like gravity it has a force, like magnetism it's presence has a pull, we sense and feel it like wind and it can spread like fire in the shapeless way of flowing water. Putting all of these attributes together barely describes SPIRIT. Whether we acknowledge it or not the foundation of LIFE is spirit. The underlying force behind our attitudes and behaviors are spirit. Our attitude towards, behavior by, or feelings about life affects the spirit in which it occurs. Our individual spirit, "the spirit of man," represents our own personal consciousness that is connected to and shared with the universal consciousness which also forms and shapes all societal values. We look at things first spiritually not because they can be visibly seen, but because through spirituality we can see everything more clearly. We believe that the next greatest technological breakthrough will be the scientific proof of the spirit world. Yes, science will ultimately prove that the spirit world does exist! ![]() All experiences disseminate from a spiritual source. Spirits express themselves in our looks, expressions and mannerisms. Each and every occurrence in our lives has a significant spiritual link. Feelings, emotions and words all express spirit. The term "Spirit" is a nebulous concept to embrace. There is spirit in everything that exists and in everything that we do. Even if absent in body, we are able to be present in spirit. It is easier to describe the manifestations of spirit rather then try to define what spirit is. The spirit or energy of something differs slightly from the spirit or behavior of it. Life's demonstrations are a result of the spirit or order of things. The way that our mind influences our behaviors, is similar to the way our spirit reflects our character or present condition. The so-called negro spirituals of biblical and religious significance were songs born out of slavery that established a sense or "spirit of hope and endurance." Our temperament describes how we train and control our own spirit. Sometimes the terms "Spirit, spirits and spiritually" appear to describe s-p-i-r-i-t-u-a-l-a-l-i-t-y in vague terms. Using these words interchangeably further complicates this. Spiritual things can only be compared with other spiritual things. There are many familiar metaphors, analogies and parables that stem out of describing our innate being. We hear them in many of the stories we pass along from generation to generation. What this means is that descriptions like those are simply comparisons to natural things we can understand. The closest we can come to describing spiritual things in natural terms is comparing a source to its shadow. Our shadows vaguely represents the image that casts them, when the lighting is right; just as our bodies somewhat exposes our spirit, by our thinking and behaviors. Spirit, like how or why we believe in God, can only be described not defined! Our sense of spirit can be developed like our basic five physical senses of taste, touch, smelling, seeing and hearing. Although there are others these five are naturally and easily understood. Nature, the natural order and balance of things can be violated but never totally subverted. In spirit natural order and common sense are synonymous. This implies that there is an intuitive natural power of judgement common to all. When something makes sense to us it means that it naturally aligns with our sensibilities. Our shared sense of humor allows us to mutually perceive, appreciate and laugh at life together. But our individual sense of humor generally varies. What's funny to one person may not be to another. And as such this applies to all of our senses. The spirit in which we view life affects our sensitivity to how we interpret what's presented as a silhouette. The "silhouette of spirit" is not a magical or mystical concept. A silhouette shows substance without revealing detail. Truth can be blinding! The brightness of the light of truth manifested by the Father Of Spirits is overwhelmingly brilliant! Imagine gazing at a solar eclipse without the proper eye protection and burning our retinas out. Even Moses desiring to see God's Glory was only permitted to peer at God's hinder parts after he passed by. There is very little truth that is not apparent. Even through our biases we are fully capable of seeing truth. We have simply chosen not to acknowledge the obvious by purposely looking through the natural phenomena of Shadows and silhouettes. Only the "spirit of deception" can keep us from seeing and understanding these everyday experiences without us consciously awakening to our awareness of them. We all have chosen at one time or another, whether consciously or unconsciously, to remain unseeing in situations where “we could know, and should know, but don’t know because it makes us feel better not to know.” Most people do not understand the science of the interactions of spirit. It may appear chaotic but there is an order. We interact spiritually whether we are aware or not, awake or asleep! We can observe the patterns of spiritual energies with their interactions that branch and span through their hierarchy. How they operate has patterns but the intricacies of these operations vary from situation to situation. Learned and practiced behavior is very difficult to disguise or change. Computer programs and artificial intelligence (A.I.) take advantage of this fact. Seeing things from a spiritual perspective reveals these "echos of occurrences" we call patterns. Our motive or purpose behind how we think and behave arises out of the spirit of our consciousness. Spirits in and of themselves are impartial. Their behaviors, motives and personalities are derived from what we allow them to do. Spirits operate in accordance with the laws of attraction and as such their influence feels natural. Bees are attracted to flowers in the same way negative and positive ends of a magnet attract. As spiritual beings we can reshape and permute our own natural drives and instincts. As an example, let's evaluate the forces behind everyday attraction. Attraction has several dimensions to it. Through spiritual examination we can observe the multiple threads that simple attraction can lead us in. Attraction in its purest form is a clean sense of appeal. In another context it takes on an air of admiration. However in its basest form attraction can be twisted into lust, indecent desires and uncontrolled passions. The pathology of spirit may not follow any anticipated patterns but we can follow whatever aspect it transforms into with spiritual insight. Attitudes, behaviors and motivation of spirit are something we all experience. Although we might find it hard to accept and understand the heinous acts and atrocities committed by others, we all have control over our own spirit. Gaining an appreciation of how spirits operate is like looking in a microscope and seeing germs for the first time. The hardest thing to wrap our heads around in understanding the ways of spirit is how to control or restrict them. Because "Spirit" interconnects with our spirit, it hard to distinguish whether its our will or the influence of spirit driving or motivating our activity. Although we believe that we are in total control of our decisions, we are not. We are generally acting out of predictable reasoning and conditioning. In most cases it's not what we do but how we do it. "There is nothing unclean of itself." It is we that make it unclean. There is nothing wrong with drinking wine. It is the abuse of drinking it that creates problems. There is nothing wrong with sex. It is sex outside of the scope of its design that creates issues. The spirit/consciousness of all leaders is easily transmitted into their followers. This is how "mob mentalities" lynched blacks, burned towns, eradicated Jews, and condoned genocide historically across the world. The holocaust and all like atrocities are the result of the flu-like symptoms passed down from the leaders that orchestrated them. This is why we must ALL hold our leaders to the highest standards! The spread of the present corona-virus, "COVID-19" plainly illustrates this. SPIRIT LIKE VIRUS IS CONTAGIOUS! We have written these warnings explicitly; especially over the past three years in multiple posts, most recently on November 1st 2019. The post entitled "Chicken Little - Noah and the art of ark building" is linked here. It is the abuse and perversion of spirit that corrupts the balance, flow and true intended essence of life. We are free to exert or pervert our energies in the spirit in which we use them for prosperity, pleasure or power in and over life. Examining and observing "the spirit of purpose" (the motivational/why spirit) is the duty of every follower. Regardless of the cause, the end DOES NOT justify the means! WE ARE ONE!

TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEMSpirituality is not a religion, it simply connects us with the world around us while adding meaning to our existence. There are forces governing our existence. Being aware of these energies and following a spiritual path makes us complete. Staying in touch with our spiritual side decreases depression, stress and anxiety. Life is a manifestation of where and how we invest our energy. We are holistic beings and when we put energy (ch'i) into improving any part of ourselves, all other aspects of our lives benefit from it. It’s well known that both our mental and physical health can improve when we take time to address our spirituality. Most of us view meditation as an extra-curricular activity, but it is actually occurring as an ongoing function in our brain. We meditate (think) constantly, most of the time without focusing on resting the mind. Anything that we allow ourselves to worry about can disturb our balance and equilibrium. When we redirect and order our thoughts even to the point of emptying many of them from our minds we can transcend our present state of being and experience a higher sense of peace. This directly relates to how well and how long we sleep especially at night. Our failure to control the meditations of our hearts can lead to alcohol, drug or food (substance) abuse. Substance abuse offers some piece of temporary relief that always transcends that present state of mind. This is how many people tranquilize the stress and numb the pain within their soul.(the seat of our consciousness) The Psalmist wrote "Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight." Both speech and thought are so linked together that it is impossible to address one without the other. Tools are for building and weapons are for battles.![]() Tools can be weaponized but they were intended to be used as tools. "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal." This is a quote from the Bible, but spiritual people already know that we cannot battle ghosts with bullets. "Wherefore put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil," is another quote from the Bible, that describes how to strategically fight spiritually. However spiritual people already know that they are in a war zone. This post is not about weapons or armor but about tools. Many times when it comes to struggles within the spiritual arena we tend to focus on forces and factors from external attacks. This post focuses on our internal struggles and the spiritual tools we can use to better ourselves. The purpose of weapons are for an edge in combat to defeat an enemy. However, many of our battles are personal and over time we are forced to face the formidable adversary of self. Rather then destroy or wound our own being, we can work on constantly fixing it. Just like any house or car it is necessary to inspect and maintain body, mind and spirit. Our spirits are indestructible but have the capacity to grow and change as we mold them. The work of parenting began our tooling process and as we grew the responsibility shifted from them to us. Keep in mind that the mechanisms listed here are everyday experiences and techniques in the form of spiritual tools used to fight the enemy we call self. Change and Transformation are competing cousins. Change is inevitable. Everything ages and gradually changes over time. Change is never in a rush and as a matter of fact although some people and things seem as if they never change they do. Many people tend to resist the energy of change. The changes we are addressing here refer directly to changes in practices not changes in principles. The power of change can be instantaneous or slowly trans-formative as a process of change. The process of transformation like metamorphosis requires time and effort. The word "change" has more of a permanent aspect to it while the word "transformation" suggests an ability to revert back to an original state or on to other states. Spiritual transformation is a step by step process that progresses from doing to being. The things we do along our trans-formative journey are eventually what we become. Most transformations involve improving some aspect or area in life. Change usually involves an adjustment in behavior. Transformation always demands a change in both thinking and behavior. (spirit and truth) Time is said to heal wounds, but time is not a healer. Time regulates and allows us to manage energy. We use time to factor in perspectives, make decisions and ponder our existence. Time is a tool of our journey. We can plant but must wait to see things grow. Even our plans can only take shape over time. Taking advantage of time allows us to administer the appropriate actions in a timely manner. Failing to grasp the significance of time by procrastinating can foster irrevocable effects as we now face with global warming. Time is impartial and answers to no man. We don't have time, make time, take time, waste time or loose time. Time neither sits still nor marches on, but it allows us to measure change. Time is a tool. Difficulties are a part of every living thing. Our struggles allow us to build up energy for strength, stamina and endurance. A great tool of the spiritual trade is learning to view hardship in the light of eternity. Nothing in the tangible world lasts forever and "even trouble don't last always." Despite of the difficulties, the hope of the slaves was freedom. "The Underground Railroad" was not a train, it was a dangerous and difficult journey to liberty. Every difficulty we overcome works as encouragement for us and others who see or partake of it with us. Difficulties keep us grounded and allow us to humble ourselves. The essence of sorrow through crying and tears have authored some of our greatest hymns, songs, poems, and movies. The motivation of grief, whether it's ours or from someone else, can serve as a catalyst to overcome any situation rather then allowing that difficulty to overcome us. Being thankful is one of the simplest methods of applying invisible energy to any situation. Many people express thankfulness through prayer and praise. Thankfulness can be declared in many manners. The full power of being thankful is best expressed and shared in the spirit (behavior) of emotion. The true spirit of thankfulness functions best externally. Thankfulness is a state of mind regardless of our physical circumstances. Genuine thankfulness is reflected in spirit and truth. The phrase spirit and truth speaks not only to the "what" but also the "why." Describing spirit only in terms of behavior is insufficient. The spirit of something not only reflects its action but also the motivation behind that action. The true motivation behind being thankful illustrates this. Our failure to demonstrate thankfulness doesn't necessarily make us "feel" unthankful. Our behavior in spirit may not align with what we really "feel" inside. These "emotional" contradictions allow us to "feel" one way but act in a completely opposite manner. Being thankful is at the "feeling" level. Thankfulness is at the "doing /expressing" level. ![]() It is the "Spirit" of purpose that births the power of our passions Forgiveness is among the most powerful tools we have. In the realm of spiritual engagements it is a mandatory tool that must be voluntarily used. Forgiveness is not something we do, it is a release of energy we grant to ourselves and others. Forgiveness is love's opportunity to flourish, help and heal. When we forgive we force the universe to channel destructive energy into constructive manifestations. The strength to forgive taps into the supernatural and delivers that power to us in the physical world. Whether we forgive ourselves or others there are certain barriers and strongholds that can only be toppled or broken by and through forgiveness. Remember that one of Jesus' last miracles was his saying "Father forgive them." The topic of forgiveness has a previous post dedicated specifically to it. Prayer is an invisible extension of energy that we can focus on or towards anything. Understanding what prayer is and how it works is not essential. Prayer is an act that concentrates spiritual energy which manifests into the natural realm. It always has results even if we are unaware of them. It is practiced by just about every religion, race, nationality and culture. Prayer is a natural response to things out of our reach or control. Some may define prayer as a method of affecting the natural through the supernatural, however the prayer itself requires no supernatural abilities on the part of those who pray. Prayer has no prerequisites such as a particular belief or condition. In fact the more difficult the conditions are the more effective the prayer can be. Although most prayers are addressed to or directed towards God, prayer focuses on intervention in human events. It stands to reason that all prayers are heard and answered. There may be delays and obstacles that hinder the petitioner from hearing or receiving the answer, but we believe God ALWAYS answers prayer!(Daniel 10: 12 - 14) If we know anything about God we know that God is faithful. Prayer, whether requested or personally performed works across the universe. Prayer has no limitations in its reach. Prayer works everywhere! Fasting is a power-tool strategy employed when there is a necessity for urgency. Sometimes as a last resort "targeted" fasting is second to none in effectiveness. Fasting adds more punching power to prayer. The discomfort to our flesh during a fast impacts our bodies, minds and spirit because they all require our daily energy to function in their normal capacity. By voluntarily imposing restrictions to their common source of power they are forced to operate in a way that limits their activity as they all rely on an ever shrinking pool of energy. The bodies involuntary systems are very stingy with the resources they need to function and are programmed not to shut down. They will maintain functionality at the expense of the less vital activities that our willful nature expresses through our mind and spirit. Think about it, when we're hungry most other priorities become secondary. Thinking takes energy too! When we impose a fast upon our members we are forcing them to streamline their consumption while simplifying their resolutions. Hunger, the constant reminder of why we are fasting reverberates through our bodies and the meditations of our minds during the discomfort of a fast. Humor is a tool, that if used correctly works in many situations. Humor is not a fools tool. The ironies of life appear funny when viewed from a lighthearted perspective. Difficulties become tolerable and even manageable when we laugh at them. There is a restorative quality to laughing that sometimes defies reasoning. Happiness and humor are brothers. There are so many things that can baffle and leave us perplexed that's better to giggle at than get. If we don't "get it" a joke is not funny. Even during the darkest of times the perspective gained through humor can see us through it. Humor is medicine for the soul and stimulus to the body. Babies are generally happy until they need or want something, and when they get it they go back to being happy again. It's humorous to tickle and bounce our babies and watch them smile and laugh. Humor and laughter are as contagious as a yarn. Humor can make light of the gravest circumstances and defy the reasoning of logic. The humor of laughter can strengthen and lift our spirits in tragedy. Laughing at ourselves show resiliency and the chuckle of humor radiates hope and positivity. Life is a series of ups and downs, humor can make the downs "feel" like ups. Affirmations and confessions are components of faith. Faith must be conceived, convinced and confessed to have its full effect. Sharing our experiences through conversation offers an exchange of faith through our testimonies of victory over adversity. When a fighter enters the ring in doubt it is very likely he will not win. The "hype" is almost as important as the practice or training. Affirmations, the "tool of talk" used by Winston Churchill, Muhammad Ali and Donald Trump proves this. Using affirmations at any point along the road of life can be effective. Confession is not for the proud or the weak. The gate of confession lets weaknesses out while allowing strength to enter in. These actions open the possibilities of prayer and asking for prayer is a powerful form of confession. This sense of empowerment also stimulates our resolve. By enrolling the involvement of others able to cheer and encourage us on our road to victory words become spirit. Talk is not cheap! Only we can devalue what we say by our actions. It is our actions that have the final say and as such our action can speak louder then words. By having the tools to change and transform over time; even with difficulties we can remain thankful. Exercising forgiveness will become easier with prayer and fasting by using humor to temper our affirmations and confessions. ![]() The troubles of life can make us strong they help us see where we belong. The way to struggle and really win is from how we wage the war within. TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEMThe primary role of a parent is to prepare their children to be self sufficient. This requires that parents learn to be decent role models, illustrating the strength of unity while simultaneously teaching and training their children how to survive on their own. Many times the birth of a child can be the spark that lights the fire in the lives of parents needing focus in life. We expect our children to transition from being dependent to independent while nurturing interdependent family values. This is the ideal case. And even this exemplary scenario does not paint a perfect picture. Ultimately parents must allow their children to choose and walk their own paths and make or mess up their own lives. In psychology, "Diana Baumrind's" theory of parenting cites three methods which actually depict four parenting styles. She cited the authoritarin way as too hard, the permissive way as too soft, and the authoritative way as just right. This sounds similar to "Goldilock and the three bears." This should also include the uninvolved way that might be deemed as negligent. As usual, we will be approaching this from a spiritual perspective while we examine these four styles. Although there is no perfect parenting manual, there are perfect perspectives regarding the perils of parenting. PARENTS ARE NOT PERFECT BUT THEIR PERSPECTIVES MUST BE PERFECTED.![]() The hardest thing to achieve in parenting is becoming a perfect parent, raising perfect children or both. Historically, there have been no perfect parents and even fewer perfect children. However, there is a real expectation that each generation should do better then the previous one. Therefore society creates new standards. As a result, the higher the standard, the harder it becomes to measure up to it. Under this type of system some level of failure is imminent. Every parent will fall short in some way or another and that makes all parents GUILTY of defeat by default! This is one of the factors that creates and causes the perils of parenting. Before guilt comes responsibility. When the "spirit of responsibility" is perverted by guilt it allows the "spirit of shame" to influence our actions. GUILT works against guidance! Many parents are under the false assumption that they are responsible to maintain the same parental obligations to their adult children as they did to their adolescent's. Although in most cases the reverse is true, the "Spirit of GUILT" can manipulate both maternal and paternal bonds to influence parents to undermine their own filial inheritance. Nature itself teaches us that growth and progress is measured by self sufficiency and independence. When a parent adopts or embraces any policy or practice in direct opposition to natural or spiritual laws there will be unintended consequences. GUILT is an emotionally selfish spirit that places personal feelings in front of correct considerations. The "spirit of GUILT" works on and through all parties involved. GUILT has a way of convincing innocent parties to "feel" culpable for things out of their control. Keep in mind that we are focusing primarily from a spiritual perspective. Although there are logical, philosophical, psychological and ethical view points to consider. The primary spiritual concern to address are the "spirits (behaviors) of guilt and compromise" that can contort and pervert the "love (discipline) of responsibility. The activity of these spirits can alter the development of traditional parent-child relationships. A compromise always involves concessions that weaken some area of firm footing. All spiritual compromises constitutes lowering standards. The obligation of Responsibility implies ownership without absolute control. We can not be responsible for things beyond our control, but we are totally responsible for any and all compromise. Consider the results of any story of compromise from a biblical perspective. Adam's compromise over a bite of fruit cost us our innocence. Abraham compromised his morality and faith in God by having sex with Sarah's bond-maid that provided his firstborn "Ishmael" before the child of promise "Issac." Even Moses was compromised by his uncontrolled anger and was not allowed to enter "Canaan," the promised land. Judas compromised his allegiance for thirty pieces of silver and it cost both he and Jesus their lives. Fortunately, Jesus never compromised and as planned, took his convictions all the way to death on a cross. There are no concessions, compromises or considerations that come without consequences. What most parents fail to realize is that in reality there is a third parent at work raising their children with them. This parent is "LIFE." Good "birth parents" always introduce and constantly remind their children that the "Life" parent has the final say. The "life" parent will always allow children to learn the true lessons of life as long as the birth parents don't cloud or interfere with its teachings. Although most parents devote much of their energy towards putting their best effort forward, the majority of all required growth energy must come through the will of the child. Regardless of how slight or severe parents fail in any area of rearing their children, it is the responsibility of the child to continue to mature and grow into adulthood. Isn't it the obligation of the parents to hold their children responsible for what they have taught them in life? Understand this. If the birth "parents" do not insist on their children's accountability the "life" parent certainly will. One of the pitfalls birth parents often fall into is forcing their vision and expectations upon their child. As difficult as it is to accept the flaws we discover in our children those flaws "belong to" the offspring. Parents may point them out but the child must wage the personal battle to defeat, destroy and replace those behaviors. Parents tend to criticize bad habits even in their adult children because they feel it ultimately points back to them. Parenting, like our modern day computer communications should be scrutinized by a best effort dispatch criteria rather then a guaranteed delivery approach. FAMILY VALUES ARE THE SUBSTANCE OF WHAT MAKES A FAMILY UNIT A FAMILY.![]() In addition to the four styles of parenting, more then anything, parenting involves a partnership that embraces an ever evolving management strategy built around maintaining the family unit. One of life's greatest and most rewarding experiences comes through creating and building this unit. Most parents are willing to use all of their resources to protect such an investment. This is why some parents feel it is their duty to "stand by" or take sides with their children regardless of the wrong they do. However parents are not obligated to "stand for" their children when they are in the wrong. Parents may feel obliged to faithfully "stand with or by" maybe even "own" their children in almost any circumstance; but a parent's first obligation is to the integrity of the family unit. Parents "stand for" and teach truth when they "stand against" wrong in any form anywhere. Even the wrongs of children can be mitigated on their behalf by parents willing to "stand for" right." Parents will always be parents, but the roles in parenting must evolve and eventually be passed on to their heirs. Parenting older and/or grown children involves parenting "from the rear." This is typically the most difficult transition a parent has to make in the rearing of their children. Initially, parents start out coddling, nurturing and protecting their offspring. This parenting "from the front" is the natural and normal order of development across most species. These instincts are generally quite strong and usually diminish as the child matures expressing more and more of their own will. Parenting "from alongside" is the ideal evolution in parenting. It functions like the relationship between a leader and their trusted adviser. This may become the perfect relationship between parent and child, but the expectations along with the emotional aspects of parenting impact how this relationships evolves. Children do not come with a manual or users guide which puts parents at a disadvantage. Traditional methods of governing and raising children, whether experienced or learned may turn out to be inadequate. There are multiple acronyms parents can use. Like C.H.I.L.D. This could mean control, help, instruct, love and discipline. It could also mean correction has its limits, try discipline! Multiple words can be used to describe various approaches to raising children but here's a simple formula To remember (S=TIME). The "S" stands for success and "T.I.M.E." stands for talent, instruction, maturity and example. This formula is quite simple and can be applied to any and every child rearing situation. To successfully raise children these four factors must be present. Two factors are contingent on the child and two factors on the parents. The child must exercise their talent(s) and mature while the parents must provide instruction and lead by example. This should continue to take place over time. Although these building blocks are the same for any and every child rearing situation, this does not mean that the situations look the same, feel the same or play out the same way. Each parent/child relationship differs but the formula remains applicable. It takes both sides of the relationship to create the success. Everyone plays a role in the outcome. Parents who believe that it's their fault for all failures get caught in a "guilt trap." This can bring the experience of prolonged suffering to the entire family unit. Whenever a parent's expression of love for their children extends beyond doing what is in the best interest of the family unit it is self serving. The act of love and the emotions of feelings become intertwined and create confusion in how to respond. True love knows how to say "no" and acts in accordance with parenting's primary role. Counterproductive parenting is characterized by permitting children to fail to reach the capability to support themselves and the maturity to become parents. The capacity to live as independently as possible is mandatory for all offspring, even those that are physically or mentally handicapped. Many parents unaware of how parental bonds are exploited through selfishness blindly continue travelling down the road of nurturing that develops into emotional incest. They may never perceive that the spirits of fear, guilt and shame are manipulating duty and destiny to the demise of the children they so intensely care about. Many parents believe their compassion requires them to interfere with "life's" lessons due to how much they care. This irrational behavior has a logic of its own that defies the ability to see or enforce any alternative action that would ultimately be in the best interest of the family unit. When the parent-child relationship line is blurred parents blindly resort to treating their fully grown offspring more like pets then children. BEING A PARENT IS NOT EASY - BUT THE END PRODUCT IS PROMISING.![]() Remember proper parenting is divided and shared among the three (3) principle parties involved. The roles of the father, mother and "life" are essential in raising children properly. Parents are partners in producing, providing for, preparing, protecting and punishing (disciplining) their proteges. We are the guardians of the world! When any one parents pervasive or permissive posture undermines any of the other two parents role, the three way "partnership" becomes a private precarious plot. The prosperity of the child is poisoned through such partiality or preference that results from braking the bond of "partnership" that produced them. Yes, there is an invisible (spiritual) bond between parents that permits or prevents behaviors. Conversely if one parent imposes their will without the consent of "the partnership" the balance is corrupted and other bonds can form between the child and the remaining parents that are based upon division. Lets make it plain. Parents who take sides with their children in deference to forming a united front divide and diminish their own authority by mistakenly indulging the error of (spiritual) disunity. Any one of the three parents can subvert the harmony of the group by destroying the balance each individual brings. This is why it is important that we apply the laws of society evenly and equitably. The "life" parent must also behave impartially towards all of its children! By carefully examining the four basic styles of parenting we can be better role models and parents. EVERYONE participates in parenting. Whether we play the role as a father, mother or "life" it is important to realize how each parent plays their role. There is a (spiritual) harmony to ALL of life. Parenting is the glue that connects one generation to another. The future is forged by our past, and the present is the only time we have to work in. Everyone has a stake in parenting whether we have children or not. Consider the old African proverb,"It takes a village to raise a child." Not regarding the input of people without children is short sighted. After all every human being started out as a child and we all came from our parents. This is a call for all to participate. ![]() A CALL FOR ALL This is a call for all to participate. This is a call for all and it cannot wait. This is the invitation just to take a part. This is the invitation listen to your heart. This is a desperate plea to the human race. It's all about us and we that we have to face. |
