CLICK THE > ARROWS TO PLAY MEDIA AND DARK GREEN LETTERING FOR LINKS"THE SCIENCE OF SPIRIT GIVES STRUCTURE TO SPIRITUAL MANIFESTATIONS"THERE IS A WORLD OF "SUBSTANCE," A WORLD OF "SPIRIT" AND A WORLD OF "SENSES." THESE THREE ASPECTS OF THE SAME "ONE" WORLD ARE GOVERNED BY PRINCIPLES, LAWS, AND RULES ALONG WITH THE THEORIES OF SCIENCE. SCIENCE SHOULD ALWAYS BE DEFINED AS AN OBJECTIVE, ORDERLY, RATIONAL AND SYSTEMATIC WAY OF ARRANGING KNOWLEDGE. the spiritual kingdom is scientific TOO. THIS REALM has its own rank and order. THE OPERATION OF SPIRIT TRANSCENDS NATURAL LOGIC AND A LOT OF SO CALLED COMMON SENSE. GAINING INSIGHT INTO THIS "PLANE OF EXISTENCE" INVOLVES ABANDONING MOST OF WHAT WE ASSUME WE THINK WE KNOW. We manifest as human beings, but there are other FORMS OF LIFE close to us, THAT SHARE THE ENVIRONMENT. THE FACT IS THAT WE EXIST AND LIVE IN A SPIRITUAL WORLD FULL OF SENSUAL MANIFESTATIONS. MOST OF US LIMIT OUR EXPLANATIONs AND PERCEPTION oF EVERYDAY PHENOMENA TO OBSERVABLE, TANGIBLE AND NATURALLY SENSED ACTIVITIES. IN FACT VERY FEW OF US REALIZE THAT THE MAJORITY OF OUR REGULAR DAILY INTERACTIONS ARE ACTUALLY PHYSICAL MANIFESTATIONS OF SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY. We MUST REMEMBER THAT SPIRIT IS INVISIBLE. IN ORDER TO DETECT OR DISCERN SPIRIT WE MUST HAVE "SPIRITUAL SIGHT." THIS IS GENERALLY CALLED AND/OR CHARACTERIZED AS "DISCERNMENT OR INSIGHT." THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH MYSTICISM OR PSYCHIC POWERS. SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT CAN OFFER US ADDITIONAL INSIGHTS INTO ISSUES BUT IT IS NOT A MAGIC WAND. THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL MISTAKE WE CAN MAKE IN SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT AND HEALING IS TO ASSUME THAT A CONDITION ORIGINATES, OR IS INITIALLY DRIVEN "SOLELY" BY JUST EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, OR SPIRITUAL CAUSES. ALTHOUGH SPIRIT INVOLVES ITSELF IN ALL OUR INTERACTIONS, IT IS ALWAYS SUBJECT TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITATIONS OF ITS HABITATION. Depending upon the elements OF the environment, certain TYPES of spirits TEND TO gravitate to specific KINDS OF pEOPLE AND PlaceS. SPIRITS CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR DISPOSITION, PERSONALITY OR MENTAL CONDITIONS. ALL CAUSATION HAS SOME SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE AT ITS SOURCE, BUT ALL OF THEIR EFFECTS MAY NOT INITIALLY COME AS A DIRECT RESULT OF IT. WE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER AND HEED THIS WARNING; cORRELATION DOES NOT NECESSARILY IMPLY CAUSATION. HOWEVER, sPIRITUAL EXPRESSION OCCURS AT EVERY LEVEL OF EXISTENCE INCLUDING THOUGHT, WORDS AND DEEDS. sPIRIT CAN BE FOUND WITHIN THE GENESIS OF OUR THOUGHTS, THE EXPRESSION OF OUR WORDS AND THE MANIFESTATION OF OUR ACTIONS.WHAT'S SPIRIT? "A fighting spirit" refers to a desire and determination. "School spirit" refers to that institutions characteristics. "A mean spirited" person or remark is harsh or insulting. "That's the spirit" refers to the attitude and effort displayed. "The spirit of the law" refers to its gist, intention or purpose. "The Christmas spirit" refers to a seasonal mood or consciousness "To spirit away" removes something or someone with hardly a notice. "A free spirited" person is independent, not constrained by convention. A "kindred spirit" describes an individual with the same beliefs, attitudes or feelings as oneself. WE ALL TALK ABOUT & REFERENCE "SPIRITS" BUT FAIL TO OPERATE IN LIGHT OF THEIR INFLUENCE. Spirit can be described as "will of behavior." Again these are only descriptions of the energy of our motivations and actions. However, spirits are not behaviors! Spirits work through our behaviors to manifest and/or disguise themselves. This is why it is important to evaluate situations from a holistic perspective to properly minister to people. Dealing with their issues often entails addressing the physical, psychological and spiritual components of their experience. This post is not for babies, beginners or novices in spiritual affairs! WE ALSO TRUST THAT AFTER ABSORBING THE INFORMATION IN THIS POST, READERS WILL BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE HOW TO HOPEFULLY FREE THEMSELVES & HELP OTHERS WITH THEIR UNDESIRABLE THOUGHTS, MOODS AND ATTITUDES. WHETHER WE ACKNOWLEDGE IT OR NOT, SPIRIT PLAYS A ROLE IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR EXISTENCE FROM NOTIONS TO NATURE. WE MAY FIND IT DIFFICULT TO NOTICE THE CORRELATION THAT ACTUALLY EXIST BETWEEN CLIMATE CHANGE, EXTREME WEATHER AND POLITICAL UNREST. IN LIKE MANNER, AS SPIRIT'S INFLUENCE OUR BEHAVIORS, IT CAN BE JUST AS HARD TO DETERMINE OR DISTINGUISH BETWEEN ABERRANT ACTS AND UNSTABLE EMOTIONS. "HABITS OF SPIRIT" CAN EASILY BECOME INGRAINED IN OUR PERSONALITY UNWITTINGLY. WHENEVER WE COMPROMISE OUR LIBERTY, SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS CAN BEGIN TO SET IN. WHEN WE ALLOW SPIRITS TO RIDE WITH US, THEY CAN DECEIVE US TO THE POINT WHERE WE ACTUALLY DENY THEIR EXISTENCE. DEALING WITH "HABITS OF SPIRIT" REQUIRES THE SAME DILIGENCE AS DAILY GROOMING AND HYGIENE. NO MATTER HOW MUCH PROGRESS WE MAKE EACH MORNING, THE ROUTINE MUST BE ESTABLISHED AND CONTINUED ON A DAILY BASIS AND BECOME OUR LIFESTYLE. THIS MAY BE WHY WE HAVE DIFFICULTY RECOGNIZING THE REAL FORCES BEHIND THE SCENES INFLUENCING US. SPIRITS ARE LIKE GERMS; WITHOUT AN AWARENESS OF THEM WE ARE SOMEWHAT DEFENSELESS AGAINST THEM. THERE ARE THREE MAIN WEAPONS AT OUR DISPOSAL TO COMBAT SPIRITUAL INFLUENCES. WE CAN VERBALLY SPEAK (TALK) AGAINST A SPIRIT/BEHAVIOR. WE CAN BEHAVE IN A WAY THAT WORKS AGAINST OR CONTRADICTS HOW THE SPIRIT MANIFESTS. WE CAN ALSO MEDITATE, PRAY AND REBUKE THEM WITHIN THE ARENA OF THOUGHT. IN ANY EVENT WE MUST ACTIVELY AND FORCIBLY ENGAGE THESE SPIRITS DAILY IN AN OFFENSIVE ATTACK AGAINST THEM. THEY ARE ON AND IN OUR TERRITORY AND WE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO AGGRESSIVELY EXPEL THEM. YES, IT IS A TERRITORIAL CONFLICT THAT INVOLVES OUR BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT. THIS IS THE POWER OF "MIND OVER MATTER AND ACTION OVER ACTIVITY." APPLYING REAL PSYCHOKINESIS AND TELEKINETIC ABILITIES BEGIN HERE. BUT BEWARE THAT WHEN WE ACKNOWLEDGE, ADDRESS OR CHALLENGE CONTRARY SPIRITS THEY WILL RESPOND AS ADVERSARIES. SUCH SPIRITS WILL ATTEMPT TO STRIKE BACK THROUGH OUR FEELINGS, EMOTIONS OR OTHER PHYSICAL MANIFESTATIONS WITH A VENGEANCE. Sometimes in life it may seem better not to know something; and as such "ignorance is bliss." Many times when "adverse effects" are unknown, unrecognized or minimized the cause is also easily overlooked. Deception leads to denial which promotes avoidance. Too many of us are avoiding or ignoring the spiritual side and signatures of our existence. In this post we are focusing on both the contributors and the causes! The insights we present come with a caution and the caveat of a responsibility to act. Our posts are deliberately made to be provocative as well as informative. As we endeavor to read the "handwriting on the wall" it is vital to heed its warnings. What we present here is the real deal! The subject matter is unquestionably Prevalent, actual and relative. It is only the theories we form and the conclusions we draw from them, that are questionable. After reading, listening to the audio summary and studying this post, any reader should gain additional insight into the spiritual forces behind thoughts, words and deeds. There is no randomness to the universe. Everything that occurs is a part of multiple coinciding and interconnected chain of events we often correctly describe as coincidence but define as luck or serendipity. DIVINE ORDER: THE PRINCIPLES OF SPIRITUAL APPLICATION AND EFFECTSThe "science of spirit" is a concept both skeptics and religious believers must come to terms with. To understand it we must acknowledge an unseen but yet sensed realm of existence. Spirits and "spirit" are integrated forms of energy that can be manifested willfully or unwillingly. There are many different forms and types of spirits, so there is structure, rank and order within this vast spiritual kingdom. This hierarchy empowers and unites spirits in both classes and objectives. To control any one of them we must maintain our authority over various groups governing all of them. A spiritual behavior can exist for years and rarely show itself; while seemingly, from out of nowhere, we can find ourselves dealing with behaviors that suddenly suddenly manifest. This can become a perpetual game of Whack-A-Mole without a disciplined lifestyle or standard. Spirits can go from festering to manifesting due to the environment we provide for them to operate in. There are many stages, and "operating states," of spiritual activity. One common predicament we all face, occurs when a behavior becomes a habit. "Habits of spirit" seem like any other habit, they are perpetually driven and difficult to break. "Spirits" like these must be acknowledged (confession) and exposed (rebuked) to keep them in subjection. Ignoring, coddling or pandering to spirits empowers them. There is a "story" that we must tell to unmask them, reveal their pathology and recognize their disguises. "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof." This level of spiritual collusion results from more than just an occasional or one time indulgence in an activity. An embedded behavior, like a habit, is how spirits subtly exercise increasing control and influence over us and our "spirit." Allowing any spirit or group of spirits to have dominion over us is dangerous. The more we understand about the spirit operating behind a behavior in our diagnosis (evaluation); the easier it is for a prognosis and the ability to devise a plan (recommendations) that directly addresses it. The core causes behind any bad behaviors has layers and generally contains multiple factors. Spirits operate through "behavioral personalities" that can become so familiar that we take ownership of them. It is difficult, if not impossible to disguise or hide the nature of a spirit for any extended period of time. A spirits true nature will always reveal itself eventually, unless that spirit's "carrier" also harbors the "spirit of hypocrisy." The fact of the matter is that anything can and everything should be evaluated scientifically, physically and psychologically with sensitivity through spiritual eyes in light of DIVINE ORDER. THE STATES OF SPIRITUAL OPERATIonsEveryone OPERATEs BY, IN AND THROUGH MULTIPLE STATES OF "SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS." HOW WE MANAGE OUR BEHAVIORS WITHIN THESE VARIOUS "PLANES OF EXISTENCE" DETERMINES THE WAY WE FEEL, DEAL, GROW AND HEAL. FOR EVERY "PHYSICAL SENSE" WE POSSES THERE IS ALSO A CORRESPONDING "SPIRITUAL SENSE" WE MUST ENGAGE WITH, WHETHER WE ARE AWARE OF IT OR NOT. FEW OF US REALIZE THAT EVERY VERBAL RESPONSE OR LACK THEREOF, IS A "SPIRITUAL EXPRESSION." IT IS OUR INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BALANCE, CONTROL AND DIRECT THE "SPIRIT" OF OUR URGES, DESIRES AND APPETITES. THE IMPLICIT NATURE OF OUR BEHAVIORS (SPIRIT) WILL ALWAYS INEVITABLY MANIFEST THEMSELVES IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. THIS MAY HAPPEN IN A MOMENT OF ANGER, DISTRESS OR WEAKNESS OR IN THE MIDST OF CELEBRATING A VICTORIOUS SITUATION. WHATEVER SPIRITS WE HARBOR ARE WAITING AND WANTING TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES THROUGH US. BRAGGING, CRYING, GLOATING, MOANING, REJOICING AND THINKING ARE "EXPRESSIONS" OF OUR EXISTENCE THAT ENCOURAGE SPIRITUAL COHABITATION. OUR "EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE" ALLOWS US TO DISCERN WHETHER WE ARE IN CONTROL OF THIS CRITICAL BALANCE or not. MANY OF US HAVE BECOME QUITE SKILLED IN OUR ESTABLISHED PRESENTATIONs. WE HAVE GROWN ACCUSTOMED TO CONSCIOUSLY OR even SUBCONSCIOUSLY SUPPRESSING OR HIDING BEHIND OUR WAYS. THROUGH CODDLING OUR "PET" PEEVES WE EMBRACE "FAMILIAR spiritUAL BEHAVIORS." WE generally deceive ourselves and others by DISGUISING OUR secret faults. RATHER THAN VERBALLY SCOLDING OUR BEHAVIORS, IN ANY MANNER, WE ALLOW SPIRITS LIKE HYPOCRISY, FREE REIGN IN OUR "BEING." THESE "SPIRITS" SPECIALIZE IN PROJECTING AN IMAGE OF US THAT IS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WE REALLY ARE. "DIVINE ORDER" ALLOWS US TO BE WHAT WE TRULY ARE. TO BYPASS OR VIOLATE "DIVINE ORDER" WE MUST SPIRITUALLY CREATE A NARRATIVE AT A SUBCONSCIOUS LEVEL THAT CAN BE CONSCIOUSLY EMBRACED. LOGICAL, PRACTICAL OR RATIONALE THINKING MAY OR MAY NOT BE A PART OF THE NARRATIVE. THE MAIN ISSUE actually STEMS FROM THE "FACT" THAT THE PERSON BEING DECEIVED BELIEVES IT TO BE TRUE. One method of seeing through deception and sifting out truth is THROUGH body language. If what is said contradicts the non-verbal cues displayed while IT IS BEING SAID THERE IS probably A SPIRIT EXPRESSING ITSELF. WE SHOULD REGARD non-verbal signs AND cues aS EVIDENCE OF SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY. MOST BODY LANGUAGE IS genuine and usually cannot be faked. BODY LANGUAGE IS A manifestATION OF THOUGHT THAT CAN EXPOSE OR REVEAL THE TRUE NATURE OF THE spirit (personality) BEHIND IT. THIS LEVEL OF DISCERNMENT CAN EXPOSE MOTIVE regardless of what the individual might say about it. If properly interpreted, non-verbal cues generally reveal more truth than OUR intellect can DECIPHER through words that might form lies. THIS MAY NOT APPLY TO PEOPLE WHO ARE GENUINELY YET UNWITTINGLY DECEIVED SPIRITUALLY. What many of us fail to realize is that we INTUITIVELY Communicate through all of the things we attach ourselves to. THE WORDS OF OUR MOUTH AND THE MEDITATIONS OF OUR HEARTS are attached to us, even IF WE BECOME self deceptive. This is not to say that visual/non-verbal cues can't be deceptive; it only suggests that if they are, most likely they were staged OR UNCONSCIOUSLY PORTRAYED for that purpose. THE PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SPIRITUAL ASPECTS OF OUR EXISTENCE GO HAND IN HAND. DELUSIONS ARE IMPARTIAL. MOST OF THE TIME WE TEND TO GENERALLY FOCUS ON THE PHYSICAL AND TANGIBLE MANIFESTATIONS OF spirit, BUT THAT IS ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.
This is serious business. There are some common "natural" rules we all abide by. For instance we never whittle towards ourselves or pee against the wind! There are also some common "spiritual" rules we should be familiar with and never break. For instance don't play with seducing spirits, or deny the devils existence. There are ailments and certain spirits that deserve no explanation and should never be given expression! Both Jesus and the archangel Micheal knew this. Rather then contend with these spirits, they rebuked them and commanded that these spirits get behind them. Anyone who failed to understand the last section shouldn't worry at all, although its significant. Much of what we cover is esoteric in nature. This is why we position ourselves as critics without credentials! Our approach to, and examination of, this sensitive subject is based upon our epiphanies, illumination and insights. We also rely on diligent research, study, discernment, current events, feedback and experiences for confirmation. This is a strategic manual about how to fight a war. Perhaps through reading this, others may obtain that "moment of grace" and get a "glimpse of the glorious world of spirit." AS SPIRITUAL BEINGS INSIDE HUMAN BODIES OUR INTELLECTUAL MINDS INFLUENCE OUR ENVIRONMENTAs spiritual beings we can be blinded by an intellect which operates as if our humanity can be defined by our individuality. We are fighting battles on three fronts. We must combat our own flesh and must question our own thoughts, while confronting and conquering the spirits that use our own self against us. At sometime, somewhere after birth there was a moment when we became aware of our own individual consciousness and begin to express our own will. As we aged, we began to gradually exercise control over the energies that were already influencing us. Today, we intuitively interact with them whenever we express our will within this spiritual battlefield. Most people fail to recognize or address the spiritual war that we all enter into at birth. Our control should never be compromised! This is what the battle is all about. Behaviors exploited by spirits that try to control us usually first convince us that we have total control. How many times have we heard an addict say that they can stop at anytime they want? When we buy into that lie, spirits are granted safe passage and smooth sailing. Even spirits respond to discipline. If we resist them they will flee from us; at least temporarily. One of the reasons our posts and this article in particular is strictly for spiritually minded individuals is that spiritual truth requires abandoning logical theory. Spirit is incommunicable and impalpable, but words that describe (not define) spirit can be given to them. There is no location or occasion void of spirit. Our continual growth, "born again" experiences and "life long reincarnations" are better understood and managed when we understand the manifestations of the invisible spiritual realm. Love is all encompassing. Love is a spirit, a thought, a feeling and a behavior. God is spirit. If we believe in God, then it should be obvious that God is love. As a part of creation being children of God we are inherently like God. Our failure to express love does not make us void of its spirit. It makes us numb to it. By nature we are creatures of feelings. Our feelings are expressed mainly in the psychological and physical realms of our existence. When we "feel" something it exists either in our thoughts (mind) or in our flesh (body). The effect manifests itself to us in a mentally emotional or a physically tangible way. Either way these feelings must be interpreted and categorized anywhere within ranges, like from joy to pain. As creatures composed of both feelings and spirit, our feelings are linked to our spirit by our emotions. Premonitions come when our "spirit" interacts with our feelings in a way that connects them to the "mind of the universe." Many of us limit the operation of our consciousness within a fixed circle. As a result we function, operate and interrelate by, through and within the limited exposure of our own feelings. Feelings have an independent mind of their own, but depend on a response, and by nature seek reciprocation. Feelings are easily attached to emotional behaviors and seem real even if they are only temporary feelings. Feelings are not spirits they are learned and can be a liability if not controlled. Remember, none of our conclusions here are written in stone. This is about spiritual kingdoms, the laws that govern them and the science behind it. There are no known rules that apply to every realm, but there are principles that do! Sometimes spirits seem to be imaginary. Although "they" are not, spirits can exploit our imaginations and cause us to see and think irrationally. Many logical and practical concepts governing natural phenomenon are not applicable to spiritual pathology. There are no specific mandates we are aware of but there are patterns that are familiar. Our understanding is limited so our conclusions will be incomplete. We must continually examine and revise them while travelling on this road to a more perfect understanding. Many of the concepts we present will seem weird or simply far fetched. Our own intelligence has a tendency to be our worse enemy. A superficial perception or partial understanding of deep enlightenment appeals to our deceptive ego which tends to pervert its premise, taint its interpretation and alter the understanding to suit itself. Our ego which may be defined as our core sense of self must be subordinated at times to gain its full benefits. Higher spiritual epiphanies are gained by abandoning previously embraced concepts and learning or rediscovering them afresh in spite of any familiarity or previous encounters. The more important tenets of higher philosophies are intellectually subtle and are easily missed or misinterpreted initially. Our intellect normally builds upon what it already knows or assumes it knows. Spiritual understanding is not dependent upon any form of previous intellectual education. To really comprehend spiritual laws, their principles and the science behind them, they must be embraced as unique and new. This time our thinking must throw out the baby with the bath water. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so are the ways, thoughts and activity of spirit. (Isaiah 55:9) SPIRITS HAVE ENERGY INTELLIGENCE AND PURPOSESpirits "inhabit" the energy behind thoughts, speech and behaviors. They have an ability to embody any characteristics or attributes of its host. Like mirrors, Spirits can be seductively deceptive while also convincingly accurate. They can show us only what we want to see; but when exposed generally reveal their true nature. Spirits attach themselves to our spirit and are primarily interested in expressing themselves at every opportunity they get. As we take part in more experiences we become increasingly involved with the energies and forces creating them. There supposedly are seven deadly sins known as the capital vices or cardinal sins. This grouping is used to classify vices within Christian teachings. This class of sins, not specifically mentioned in the Bible, can easily be extrapolated from its teachings. Behaviors or habits within this category generally give rise to other immoralities. These vices may not be listed in the order of their severity. The seven deadly sins are pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. Although we are born with a capacity to sin it does not mean we were born sinful. We were shaped in iniquity! Much of what we do to comfort or pacify babies is in and through the "spirit of tactile and verbal energy." This is how newborns experience the world around them. They sense and feel the "spirit of our presence" intuitively. At that stage of development it is a natural "autonomic" spiritual reflex. This occurs until they either learn to suppress it, or allow the cares of this life to stifles its growth. Once we "adopt" a spirit of any kind the battle begins. We will spend the rest of our days wrestling with and against these spirits for control of our behaviors. Some spirits, resemble multiple small mirrors that project a convoluted image of how we see ourselves through our ego. Spirits are not interested in showing us what we truly are in terms of consciousness or character. Spirits simply seek to express what they actually are in a visible and tangible manifestation. A "lying spirit" operates in the guise of protecting us, and is bent on deception no matter what our original purpose or intentions might be. A "spirit of anxiety" often embraced by intelligent "anal thinkers," often operate through an impatient intellect of intolerance that is opposed to indulging uncertainties. "Spirits of humility or meekness" tend to operate without aggression, mitigate tensions and ameliorate situations through soft diffidence. This may lead us to characterize some spirits as sinister and others as propitious, but this is not the way we should think of them. Spirits shouldn't necessarily be classified in terms of good or evil. Spirits are purposeful. We can rule them and limit their effects. Like children they must be controlled, disciplined and trained. Keeping a spirit under subjection requires recognition and will power. One of the most significant obstacles we encounter in dealing with "spiritual kingdoms" is acknowledging they exist. Once we accept their existence we can then train ourselves and our senses to discern them. In most cases we will not be able to perceive what manner of spirit we are dealing with initially. The fundamental indicators will be ingrained within the speech and/or behavior operating behind the genesis of that energy's action. A spirit operating in an individual must be recognized by that "individual's spirit" to be addressed and controlled by them . Some "spirits" need to be dealt with through the help of others who can impose spiritual authority over them, as Jesus and his disciples did. Psychological methods often address addictions (ie. uncontrolled spirits) by education, environmental stimulus and other forms of self discipline centered around rehabilitation. By separating the symptoms from the subject (the actions from the "victim") we can deal with the spirit behind the behavior or condition in a very impersonal manner. When Jesus rebuked Peter, one of his main disciples, by saying "get thee behind me Satan." Jesus wasn't after Peter, he was after the "spirit of Satan." The "spirit of the thought" behind Peter's remark was the "spirit of error." "Thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men". Remember it is not the person we are attacking it is the spirits influencing our spirit. Unfortunately most people coddle these spirits and become the recipient of unnecessary pain. Our sickened personal spirit, like a sick body is a condition that requires treatment. "Spiritual sickness" is a condition similar to mental illness. To successfully treat a spiritual affliction, remember these three rules! Never attempt to discipline a disease, punish a sickness or chastise an illness! Spirits are manipulative and may cause us to focus on the person rather then the personality or character of that spirit. It is unfortunate that so many of us pay more attention to our inflated egos than to who we really are. We are not innately rational creatures. We are creatures that embed emotional ties to our feelings and beliefs. When we chose to believe something most of us will embrace it to our dying breath. If we don't want to believe in something, no amount of evidence, logic or reasoning will convince us otherwise. THIS INCLUDES OUR BELIEF IN SCIENCE, SPIRITS OR GOD! “FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE, NO PROOF IS NECESSARY. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE, NO PROOF IS POSSIBLE.” (Stuart Chase) Many people who presently wear glasses were unaware that they had an issue before seeing an optometrist. Optical or eye examinations allow us to gauge and correct our vision if necessary. The chart is the same for everyone and usually a professional will conduct the exam. We all see life through our own biased lens. Without the benefit of an honest and true assessment from a qualified source, most of us are inclined to fool ourselves. The genius of spiritual infiltration is in how "they" exploit our own habits and tendencies to use against us. This occurs in many situations where people are totally oblivious to what's going on. No one can see their own eyeball and we never really see ourselves as we really are. This is why prescription glasses are custom made and individually based on an examination by a trained professional. Most of us are simply mirror moguls. The reflection appearing in our mirrors presents an image we may or may not want to see. What we actually see is a fake look-a- like. It is the pressures of society that causes us to feel shame and lack of self esteem. Many of us have developed our personal appearance from an image or images presented to us as a desirable standard or status. What else would compel us to make changes to our own unique appearance by adjusting it to someone else's standard of what we wish it would look like. Isn't this an indication of low self esteem? This form of Seduction is spiritual. Yes, the most prevalent form of spiritual influence begins through acts of seduction. Spirits do not impose their presence upon us. they appeal to our egos and senses as they did with Adam and Eve. The eyes are the light of the body and they are the primary sense most spirits engage with to seduce us. Television and computer images are not real, but they carry spirit. They represent real, they look real and they feel real. Images are virtual carriers of the substance of what is real! Recorded images can represent the visible manifestation of spiritual activity. This is why we must "watch" our own eyes! Try making a deal with them like Job did. If that doesn't work consider the admonition Jesus gave us; pluck that "right " eye out and cut off that television in order to save the one we have "left!" Wink, it's deeper than we think. WE NEED THE RIGHT TOOLS TO PROPERLY DO THE RIGHT JOBIt is important to understand that spiritual problems require spiritual solutions. However spiritual solutions come from and can be applied across multiple natural, physical, social, psychological and tangible planes. Remember, most "spiritual solutions," will require some prayer, some counseling, education, environmental adjustments, challenges, medicines, meditation, psychiatry, therapy and just plain ole love. What's most important is that we recognize the underlying spiritual attributes and address them through whatever method is most efficient or effective. Prayer is always a great first step but in most cases it is not the only step. Remember, faith left without the action of work becomes stagnant. Let's start by comparing the role of an actor with the behavior of spirit. Our best entertainers, whether in sports, television, movies or theater are those who really embody and get into their roles. The greatest actors and actresses like Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Sidney Poitier and Hattie McDaniel characterized their parts so well that many audiences actually felt and strongly identified with the projected realities they portrayed. Although "Hattie's" role involved less imitation in how she acted while portraying "Mammy," white folk at that time loved it enough to give her an Academy award. Great actors project the "spiritual essence" of the characters and scenes they depict in such a way that the audience feels that "energy of spirit" across a room or on screen. Many actors need time after their roles are finished to find themselves, get out of character and go back into their true self. All Spirits have "roles" and many time we are the actors that unwittingly play their parts. A good actor/actress knows how to get into and out of character on Que. The term "Spiritual energy" is synonymous with the noun "spirit." To correctly understand this, it is necessary to lay aside our normal "limited" way of thinking and open our minds to insights that expose error and reveal truth. No matter how beneficial natural logic may seem to be, we must obtain "spiritual insight" to perceive the hidden, subtle and unique attributes of spirit. All "spirit energy" has awareness, so we must become sensitive to the multiple types of "cunning energy" they individually exhibit. Too many people are unaware that they are in a spiritual battle! "Spiritual bondage" can result from failing to control, suppress or remove spirits causing undesirable behaviors. Without knowing how to deal with or fully EXPOSE these "spirits of error," we are likely to misdiagnose and/or misapply our efforts. A "vindictive spirit" can convince us that we have the right to hold a grudge or not forgive others. A "spirit of bitterness" can leave us with a bad taste in our mouth that everyone we're around can smell like bad breath. Being or having been in a situation that is unfair is usually the precursor to justifying reactions resulting in even more bad behavior. The "spirit of vengeance" gives us the right to exercise an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth mentality! "The spirit of fear can summon and spawn a "spirit of violence." As we embrace the politics that stoke fears expect more "senseless" shootings of all types for multiple reasons that involve people being overwhelmed by wrath, despair and fear. Engaging these spirits releases their energy and "those" genie's are almost impossible to get back inside the bottle. Our learned responses are a by-product of how we see the world! Our perspectives reflect that and our actions show it. Most of us start off with honorable intentions, but are deceived into believing that "feelings" alone and the purpose behind them are enough to justify our behaviors. We need to understand that without practicing our good intentions we are only reacting (repeating a prescribed action in return) rather than responding properly to life. There will be times when therapeutic and cathartic processes are necessary to break free from some spirits! This is a war with spiritual weapons. We must battle with these spirits from an offensive perspective. They attack us and we must counter-attack. Our main weapon are words. Specifically, words of righteous authority, "the word of God." When we fight against a "spiritual behavior" it is prudent to talk about it too. Words are spirit. Speaking to and condemning devilish behaviors is necessary and our testimony may be required! wrestling with spirits is nothing like the battles of conventional warfareMost of us have seen a baby just smiling at thin air or fixated on something that we don't see there. Sometimes they appear to be laughing at an empty corner that seems to be barren. Maybe its because they see or sense spirits. Once we form a relationship between our "spirit" and other spirits we can become aware of their activity. All spirits are subject to their habitual restrictions. Directing spiritual energy takes effort and the work never ends. This wrestling match with spirits is akin to tussling with a pig. There's no way of grappling against a pig without getting muddy. This is the same way spirits brawl. Struggling with a pig in the mud is no fun for us, however the pig enjoys it! Nothing we do, can change the nature of spirit, or of pigs. Spirit is what spirit does. Spirits have no biases and operate impartially. As their conduits of expression we must impose a moral code that is in harmony with our legal, moral and ethical norms. We must not buy into the elusive images and impressions presented as reality. The nature of reality is not the illusion we have been taught or have grown to believe. We wrestle (fight) not against flesh and blood but against principalities (realms), against powers (energy), against rulers of the darkness of this world (forces), against spiritual (intangible) wickedness in high places (authority). This passage from the sixth chapter of the book of Ephesians from the bible says it all. As recidivist, it is important to understand that we are all prone to and capable of being deceived or mesmerized in our thinking. These spirits are capable of influencing our very thoughts. Spirits readily dwell, inhabit and operate inside the realm of thought but must be addressed, controlled and rebuked by our words verbally. We cannot imagine, think or wish them away. Audible commands with "spiritual authority" are necessary to address them. Spirits often manifest and are evidenced through breath and breathing expressions. Huffing, puffing, sighing and other exhalations may be a sign of this. In most cases of spiritual manipulation, the initial gateway spirit, is either one of lying, pride or disobedience. In the spirit world, spirits may be found clustering in groups of three's. There is a hierarchy and rank to the various groups of spirits but we would like to present what we believe to be the top three. These three (3) spirits, lying, pride and disobedience worked together in the garden of Eden. Through the lie of the serpent, the disobedience of the woman and the pride of the man all of creation lost out. A good rule of thumb is to assume that there are only three circumstances when anyone has to think about what to say: 1. When they're totally dumbfounded, ignorant or unaware of the situation. (Total Innocence or Denial) 2. When they're preparing a legal defense or argument that must be presented. (Refuting Error & Defending Fact) 3. When they're creating, reforming or building on to a lie. (Covering Up or Patching Up) By having a "realistic" perspective of the invisible forces behind the manifestations we experience we can manage them. Keep in mind that there are multiple dimensions of reality and all of them are not visible! This is a warfare against all of mankind. There is one overall goal with multiple strategies that start at the personal level and advance to our families, neighborhoods, areas, regions, cities, counties, states and countries. THERE ARE DIFFERENT RULES THAT APPLY AT THE DIFFERENT REALMS OF EXISTENCEA "state" is a distinct form in which matter exist. In physics matter is anything that has a mass and takes up space by having volume. Spirit is not matter. Electricity is not matter, although electrons are. Both electricity and spirit share similar qualities that defy the presently defined qualities of matter. Electrons are matter and they move due to the power and energy of electricity. Humans are matter and we operate through the power and energy of spirit. However neither electricity or spirit is matter although both move matter. There is nothing in our physical and tangible universe we can compare spirit with. When we speak of spirit we generally fail to properly consider spirit's form and state. This usually results in misrepresenting or misunderstanding them. In this context there are two basic categories that all spirits fall under. That is a "spirit of truth" or a "spirit of error." We allow ourselves to be deceived when we forget to apply and consider this main distinction. Spirits have their own agendas along with their own characteristics and qualities needed to execute their purpose. Spirits have varying degrees and types of forces or strengths. The influence or power we feel from one spirit may be minuscule in comparison to another. The style and type of temptation or seduction by different spirits often deceives us. Given a habitation and left to themselves spirits can establish dominions and strongholds if allowed to. Once their personalities infuse themselves within our egos and harmonize with our "spirit" they become quite cozy with us and can be considered "familiar spirits." It is difficult to determine what category a spirit falls under simply through our initial contact with it. Manifested behaviors may be overt or subtle and real purpose or motives may be disguised or hidden from us. Many people think that spiritual discernment has a captivating, enchanting, fascinating or hypnotic side to it. Most of the time this is not the case. There is a spiritual "signature" behind every action manifested in life. It will be expressed through either the "spirit of truth" or the "spirit of error." The "spiritual signature" is the key here. We have to resist the temptation to substitute appearance for reality. Mysticism and spirituality are not the same. One way to think of spirit is in terms of "germs." The word "germ," is a broadly applied but a deceptively simple word that comes from the Latin word "germen," meaning a sprout, bud, or offshoot. In every variation of its meanings, the term germ retains the idea of developing or transforming into something more mature. People tend to regard germs in a negative light. However germs, like spirit are simply a part of a larger system capable of adapting, developing or evolving. Evolution appears to resist entropy through adaptation. Spirit, which appears to maintain stasis still adapts none-the-less. As human beings, sleep is necessary. It allows us to renew our own spirit by providing a space of separation from other spirits. For spiritual entities sleep is unnecessary. Sleep is a state with different levels of conscious and unconscious dispositions. If we are unable to sleep or remain restless it should be evaluated seriously and spiritually. A restless "spirit" that prevents us from sleeping soundly is one sign of a spiritual imbalance. On the other hand battling with excessive sleep is the other side of the same coin. Spirits of anxiety and depression may cause excessive sleep. Sleep is renewal. When we awaken we should be transitioning from a state of tranquility. Sleep offers spiritual recycling. Awakening from sleep should not necessarily be considered a conscious or volitional act. Sometimes the body must be physically impacted to wake up. Maybe its the job of our guardian angel? Can we describe that state as temporary stasis? Can it be considered as an action by OUR own spirit that revives and stimulates our physical bodies then reconnects it with the reawakened soul? Let's consider what's behind our "spiritual signature" and the significance of daily spiritual renewal.
THE MODELS WE CREATE REPRESENT OUR SPIRITUAL "OPERATIONAL STATES"The delicate balance of the universe is both multifaceted and multidimensional. Although we operate in the physical tangible world, we actually exist in a universe that primarily functions at much higher levels. By understanding "spiritual signatures" we have a better idea of how spirit influences our world. It is through recognizing these signatures that we can describe what state a spirit is operating out of. Here are five specific states of spiritual operations. We will generally find ourselves involved with or operating in a spiritual state of (1) ignorance, (2) awareness and influence, (3) dynamic balance, (4) deception (5) or in a spirit of abuse. For this study, we're distinguishing five modes most of us operate in. When it comes to either electricity or spirit, we must understand that they can only be evidenced through their manifestations. The lights are either on or off, the attitude is either there or not. The results they produce are quite apparent, but our understanding of the forces behind them are not. Therefore we form theories. Theories are explanations based on suppositions of what we assume or suppose to be true. In electronics, Boyle's model of the atom is a theory! No one actually knows what an atom looks like but we do know how it interacts with other atoms. We are spirit, we interact with spirit and the world is the canvass for our spiritual exchanges and manifestations. We can only express what our "operational states" look like by describing the spirit in which we and they operate. This is our theory. We are presenting another perspective that relative to the entire spectrum of living with the energies, forces and influences of spirits. They compose the ether surrounding us and spiritually work both internally and externally on our minds, bodies and souls. IGNORANCE is the primary spiritual "operating state" for most people. This is the conventional status for a majority of the population unaware that a spiritual world even exists. The idea that some people neither acknowledge nor recognize reality leaves them most vulnerable to the wiles and working of spiritual influences. There is a "dumb" spirit, a "spirit of ignorance" that disguises itself through the "spirit of silence." Too many people are fooled into thinking that there is neutral ground in the spiritual realm. This is called the "spirit of compromise." There are only two sides in the spiritual kingdom: truth and error. There is no middle ground. In reality there are no"sides" in this kingdom. There is however balance similar to Yin and Yang but not as opposites; they are more like complementary converse reflections of purposeful energy. Spirits are not confined geographically. The same spirit that may be manifesting itself in Europe can also manifest itself in America in a different way. The spirit of "thought energy" can spread like a wild fire. When an idea saturates the internet we call it "viral." When the world embraces a common thought we call it "consciousness." When any concept spreads and is accepted across the world no government or religion can stop it. They may attempt to stall and suppress it, but no one can kill an idea. Spirits are appealing. They do not seduce us by scaring people like we see in movies. Frightening us is not in their plan; Instilling anxiety and fear may be. Spirits need guidance. Without establishing boundaries and limits a spirit (feeling, idea, mood notion or thought) will operate with its own purpose and may usurp authority it does not have. Operating through the "spirit of ignorance" creates an ideal situation for people unwilling to face truth. We all operate out of our own "comfort zones" of beliefs which make it easier to rationalize atrocities. This may be how and why the "spirit of apathy" lasted in South Africa and the U.S. for so long. Ignorance and apathy makes it easier for anyone to unwittingly accept the deception they are under. "We all have chosen at one time or another, whether consciously or unconsciously, to remain unseeing in situations where “we could know, and should know, but don’t know because it makes us feel better not to know.” This is the same type of problem we face in getting people to practice faith. It is difficult to believe in or understand what we cannot physically see. Such ignorance can produce negligence when taking on the responsibilities of life. Air, electricity, germs, gravity, ideas and thoughts are all invisible, yet they are commonly found among things that incredibly do exist. To evolve, grow and progress we must be willing to amend many of our beliefs. This can be both uncomfortable and unsettling but it is a necessary endeavor. In fact developing and maturing is a normal expectation in life. Progress must be coupled and balanced with enlightenment to last. Working in, with, through or around spirits is nothing new. The main issue we face grows from a lack of acknowledgement, to a state of denial, that spirits are at work. AWARENESS AND INFLUENCE is the spiritual "operating state" of most religious people. While they readily and verbally acknowledge the spiritual aspect of this kingdom, their assessment of its impact and influence is limited. Even people of faith tend to trust in their own experiences and understanding of spiritual things. It is not uncommon to find ourselves caught up in our own interpretation of both natural events and spiritual phenomena. According to the "law of natural order" a spirit must be subject to the vehicle it works through. Unfortunately most people fail to recognize that behind every encounter there is spirit at work. The A,B,C's of spirit; Attitude, behavior and Consciousness barely describes what spirit is or how spirit functions. Manipulating and being manipulated by spiritual energies is a part of how our egos operate. A good example of "this" spiritual "operating state" can be observed in America's businesses and politics. Commerce by nature should be more cooperative then competitive. Commerce requires mutual agreement resulting in fair exchange. These relationships established industries and markets. What started out as reciprocal exchange has morphed into various supply chain issues and trade wars. The "spirit of competition" is a great motivator in sports but has to coupled with ethics. Competition's energy is based upon avoiding or overcoming opponents. Conquering, Climbing over, dealing with and going through difficulties can strengthens character! However it is the "spirit" in which we do it in that characterizes both the deed and the doer. Domination is like enslavement. Avoidance, and denial, is like negation. The energy that we delegate to overcoming others perpetuates a "spirit of control." The energy that we devote to avoidance strategies often perpetuates a "spirit of fear." Whether warranted or not, fear flourishes when it is not faced. In life, most of what we will allow or refuse to accept comes from established standards of discipline and training. Recognizing "behaviors of spirit" should be taught, understood and regulated. When we learn something wrong we face an even greater difficulty unlearning and abandoning it. Never underestimate the power within the energy of the "spirit of denial." The process of changing becomes much harder when we have to abandon tactics that seemingly assisted us in the past. Whatever behaviors we've practiced in the past often become so ingrained that we default back to their use and application to feel secure. When we learn something incorrectly our perspectives are also incorrectly twisted without us being aware of it. This distorts our reasoning and logic regarding any changes we need to make. Why would anyone change what's already working? No one willingly changes something that they believe actually works. Whether we're deceived or ignorant, the impact is the same when we deny and resist change. In sports, antagonism and rivalry is expected. The goal is to win by beating or subduing our opponents. In business the competitive climate should differ significantly. The goal in business is to provide the best or better then all the rest while rising to the top of the heap above competitors. This diversity and vying among providers also directly benefits the consumer. This "operating state's" expression of competition allows distinction in products, pricing and quality. Hence, the "spirit of competition" is used as a great motivator for productivity and progress. However, the "nature of competition" can also create a spiritual atmosphere of conflict, contention and rivalry. Good sportsmanship generally applies to sports, where losing mainly hurts our pride. Contrary to popular opinion, the ideal situation in both politics and business should be a win-win scenario where compromise allows all parties some level of victory. The "spirit of compromise" fosters understanding and creates terms that accommodates all sides involved. However, this spirit may also foster cheating, trade offs, low standards and unacceptable settlements. When the "spirit of competition" is permitted to dominate both motivation and purpose we may end up turning our opponents into enemies. This is one of the "operating states" plaguing the leaders of businesses and government today. The main concept we are trying to illustrate here, is that "compromise" and "competition" may have contradictory applications in the physical world. However, in the "realm of spirit," "compromise" and "competition" are wrestling twins whose main objective is to constantly tussle. DYNAMIC BALANCE is an actively managed "operating state" of coexistence with the energy and influence of spirit. Dynamic indicates activity and balance denotes steadiness. Our "spirits" are "ethereal sensors" that connect us to all of life. Our Spirit is a "provisional gift" to guide us through this temporal world. We do not own our spirits, we are only in possession of them while we pass through this life. Some say that our spirits can connect us to other "spirit guides" like angels, ascended masters and departed loved ones. Whether this is true or not goes beyond the scope of this study, but it should be considered. Our "spirit" operates at the core of our personality along with our ego as a motivator rather than a controller. This is a difficult concept for many to embrace. Think of it as if our individual "spirit" is a conduit or connection node to the universal pool of "spirits" that we can feel, experience and learn from. We mainly interact with their manifestations in the midst of our shared activities. This may be considered as the ideal "operating state" but it requires vigilance and more effort then any other to maintain its equilibrium. We are the boss of ourselves and as "free moral agents" control our own destiny and will. Operating in harmony with life, which includes all of nature, requires a profound understanding and respect for it. Perhaps climate change and global warming are examples of dynamic (changing) balance (equilibrium) out of whack. DECEPTION is the craftiest of all spiritual "operating states," the wiles of its multiple manifestations makes it uniquely and exceptionally elusive. "Brethren believe not every spirit," is the stern warning given by the Apostle Paul in 1 John the fourth chapter. This means that we cannot trust every urge, feeling or thought that aligns itself with the "Spirit of Truth. "Once a person is deceived there is no certainty as to when, where or how misguided they are. Deception, an offspring of the "Spirit of Error," is simply a strategic and glorified lie. Anyone from Popes, to pastors or parishioners are susceptible to deception. Deception is capable of utilizing any nuance or quirk, we have as well as any beliefs or habit are partial to in life, against us. There are sayings like "the devil is a liar." and "the devil made me do it," that have a ring of truth. As popular as these statements are; by themselves they are incomplete. The devil is the "father of all lies," but his main title is "the great deceiver." Deception is at its best when it twists the truth. Yes, "The Devil is a liar." but his claim to fame and best work comes through partial truths. We can find them in the cliche's and sayings we unwittingly quote and believe. Any sincere individual at one time or another can be deceived. Everybody plays the fool sometimes. Most of us have been seduced by our own ego and desires at some point in life. We can easily fool ourselves into believing that the idea we're hearkening to is a voice of logic and reason. Being fooled in our ignorance by the "spirit of pride" working through our ego can confound us. Discovering that we are our own worse enemy (the devil) is both shocking and disheartening. It is not possible for the "Spirit of truth" to contradict THE SPIRIT OF ITS OWN PRINCIPLES. Immutable spiritual principles are available to us through "Holy Writs" including the Bible. Many deceived individuals experience moments of lucidity mixed with manic or depressive episodes. This indicates that they are probably struggling with their ability to restrain, suppress or otherwise manage these spirits. It is dangerous to indulge in or underestimate such spirits. The "spirit of deception" can infuse itself with the "spirit of confusion in such a way that rational thinking patterns get muddled by illogical assumptions appearing to be correct. We are all born with an innate sense of right and wrong forged by spirit. There is very little difference between ethical, logical and moral judgments when "righteous judgement" is involved. We deceive ourselves by making any significant distinctions between them. Those who fail to understand the "nature" of deception can never be free of it. The "spirit of deception" works under the cloak of compromise, convolution and confusion. Most people under the influence of this spirit mistakenly think they understand righteousness and how it works. The power of deception works through our desires. Our desire to believe what is comfortable to our psyche allows us to be deceived. This catch 22 scenario begins the moment we inadvertently embrace even the smallest lie. This is the moment that allows our perspective to corrupt our integrity. Beliefs based on false premises still seem real to the believer even if untrue. Regardless of how sincere we think we may be, no one through pure desire or intention can free themselves of deception without knowing and acknowledging that they were deceived. This is how confession and repentance works! The most misleading and "deceptive force" we all face and generally succumb to is our own "habits of thought." Our experiences help to wire our brains to think and process thoughts in certain ways. Our response to situations not only become habitual but they also create the neural networks we use to process them. This means that because we have thought our way into our present state we will have to "un-think" our way out of it. The spirits that control areas and influence environments are crafty and experienced in their manipulative wiles. The greatest deceptions are mostly discovered after the damage is done. Deception will cause us to be contradictory within our own selves. If we write or record the voice of deceit we may be able to see and hear the deception. Believing that we cannot be tricked and therefore are not susceptible to being deceived is a grave mistake. The "spirit of error" working through the deceitfulness of sin, has the ability to blind our eyes and minds to the meanings of our own behaviors. A tactic often used by a "Deceptive spirit" is to talk about truth without ever speaking truth. This spirit can be observed in operation in many political and religious venues. One method of determining if the "spirit of error," along with deception, is at the helm of a person's consciousness, is listening to their recitals. "Deceptive spirits" tend to resist "reciting verbatim" any errors or mistakes made in both the past and present. "Deceptive spirits" will readily recite in detail, the erroneous beliefs they harbor as the basis for their actions or lack thereof. They deliberately work at maintaining some position they can logically protect. "Deceptive spirits" are defensive! Their defenses will range from discrete to overt, dependent on how vociferously they need to defend themselves or their positions. Deceptions need access and doorways! Entertainment glorifying assaults, fighting and violence can expose us to the "spirit of murder" opening doors of destruction, torture and abuse. Ending a life involves the forcible expulsion of a form of life energy from one realm to another. The "spirit" that such an act is committed in is as important as the act itself. When we kill anything, even a plant, insect or animal it affects everything. Killing should be distinguished from murder. Only human beings are capable of murder. Never-the-less thou shall not kill! Being out of touch with nature makes us unaware of this. The creation usually falls out of balance due to our offenses against it and groans and travails even now. The "spirit of P.T.S.D. is upon us today. Murder always leaves a mark. Many times post traumatic stress results from the manifestation of an abused or disembodied spirit that troubles the spirit within us.
ABUSE, the cousin of neglect, as with deception is an extremely dangerous "operating state" to find ourselves in. Abusing spirit, our "spirit" or the spirit of anything will result in many negative effects. We can abuse spirit through substances through our senses or in our surroundings. Abuse of spirit will ultimately result in an addiction. All addictions have their beginnings as a spiritual illness. A prime example of this; specifically with the "spirit of a substance" can be found in alcohol and drug addictions. Remember habits are "formed." The form that habits take are their Spiritual manifestation. Habits become an ingrained part of us. Whether good or bad, habits cannot be changed simply through thought or desire. There must be an unwavering decision followed by a plan of consistent action. Most "habits" must be combated through disciplined practices focused on defeating them. Few people can just walk away from a drinking, drug or smoking habit. SPIRITUALLY, THERE IS A GIVE AND TAKE RELATIONSHIP ESTABLISHED WHENEVER WE DECIDE TO KNOWINGLY ENGAGE IN ANY ABUSIVE ACT OR ACTION. THIS PACT INVOLVES A MUTUAL EXCHANGE. It is an unwritten contract for all of life's trade-offs. It works like a deal with the devil. There is a price we must pay for attainment. There is a cost for the source of all energy and we are obligated to keep our end of the bargain. HOW WE PAY OUR DUES IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN USE AND ABUSE! The universe maintains a strict balance. When energy is given out it requires energy returned. Spiritual transactions are paid for in spirit. This implies that Everything from fame to money or pleasure comes in the form of a debt or obligation. Violating or "breaking the deal" is always detrimental. The contract with our surroundings, the stewardship over the welfare of our planetary environment, is depicted through the story of the Garden of Eden. The agreement we make with the environment is for sustainable habitation. Abusing it results in climatic extremes. The contract with our senses, our appetite for food, pleasure, hunger, laughter and sex has stipulations. Abusing them enslaves us to them and warps our perspectives. The "Spirit of sleep," purposed for rest and renewal, when abused, can lead to insomnia or slothfulness. The agreement we make with food is for nourishment. However, if we abuse that relationship it can result in anorexia, bulimia or obesity. The agreement we make with the "Spirit of drugs and alcohol" are for soothing, relaxation, healing and medicinal effects, not to imbibe them. Abusing these substances results in imbalances, dependency and addictions. We must pay the cost to be the boss. The cost of maintaining the balance of spiritual integrity is paid for in disciplined temperance or retribution through calamity. In the Spiritual realm there is no way around it. It is impossible to mitigate reaping what we sow. THERE IS NO RETALIATION AGAINST RETRIBUTION. Retaliation is a human response to an adversary or offender; it operates like the personal and selfish act of the assault itself. "Spiritual retribution" involves a higher authority to visit justice upon the offense. Abusing spirit is actually the genesis of addiction. The essence of addiction is found in the energy of its abused substance or activity. Whether its distilled, refined, pasteurized or modified in any way; the energy that once flowed through something, has a tendency, at least in part, to remain in that substance, thought or thing it once inhabited. Spiritually, deals cannot be broken. This is the rationale behind Jesus paying the price for the sins of the world and sealing the deal! Let's be clear. What we are attempting to do here is broaden our readers perspective on how life actually operates. There are no free rides. There is an art to living with the energies and spirits of thoughts along with their substances and surroundings that has an influence on us both within and outside of our bodies. SPIRITUAL considerations AND CONCLUSIONSSPECIFIC BEHAVIORS/SPIRITS TO CONSIDER CLOSELY. Our flow of energy regulates the overall balance between our body, soul and spirit. When we allow any of our soul 's energy to be exchanged or surrendered in trade we open a spiritual contract. The contract entered into is a refection of our understanding of how spirit operates. The price is a measure of our soul's life "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" The currency used in the spiritual realm is spiritual currency. We are bargaining with our soul in every action we take and in every decision we make. Our soul, "the self centered life force and seat of consciousness." is under our jurisdiction. We can share it, barter it or sell it. Spirit, the conduit of universal connectivity negotiates for us in accordance with its current "operating state." It is important to understand that our neurological, psychological, physiological and spiritual functions are all interrelated. Our beliefs and practices in the realm of spirit are actually IDENTICAL. In the physical world beliefs are considered to be VIRTUAL (spirit) but practices/actions are considered as VISIBLE (substance). Ultimately they are two sides of the same coin! It is only in our minds that we separate them. At this stage it is important to understand the mind. Many of us falsely believe that our mind is located within our heads or brains, but there is more to it. Every aspect of our "being" has its own mind! The mind is the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences through thinking and feeling. This also implies that various parts of our bodies have a mind of their own. We all have the ability to ignore or override what our "bodies minds" are telling us and push them to do more. However this can be dangerous if we misinterpret or underestimate that "minds" message. This is why holistic practices are vital to insure that "complete healing," which addresses the entire person, occurs in every part of our being. Jesus practiced this technique during his ministry. Even after restoring the sight of a blind man, Jesus perceived that additional healing was necessary because the person saw men as trees walking. Jesus administered healing to both the body and the mind. Maybe there was a "contract" that needed cancelling or a "deal" that had to be dissolved or paid. Were there agreements leveraged against his soul preventing full deliverance? Perhaps it was the "forgiveness factor!" The essential power of grace found within the "Lord's Prayer" can break any chain of bondage and make ways where there are none. Feelings, forgetfulness and forgiveness work hand in hand when breaking spiritual bonds. The capacity to simply forget is a "gifted ability" most people chose not to mentally embrace. Although the mind differs from the brain they are associated interchangeably. The physical brain stays connected with the mental mind under normal conditions. However the mind can instruct the brain's attitude and behavior. Although we need to forgive one another most of us tend to favor revenge and retaliation. Our brains may instruct us to forgive but our minds may not allow it. Forgiveness is not considered to be a logical or practical way of resolving conflict. Granting pardons are generally counterproductive and enable people to re-offend. In the spiritual arena, forgiveness is not voluntary it is mandatory. Granting restoration and forgiveness has a way of spiritually healing our brains and minds but our memories will require constant renewal. Scrubbing a memory requires determination and diligence. The spiritual benefits of the "memory scrubbing" process is unparalleled, but it must be practiced as a lifestyle. Physical rehabilitation may require the same type of rigor. Some physical therapies require the retraining of both body and mind. Most therapies are designed to provide a full range of movement while minimizing the discomfort of physical pain. The main purpose of physical therapy is to restore any damaged area to its previous appearance, strength and full range of motion. Some therapies require life long practice to remain intact. Practice does not make perfect, but persistent practice does make improvement. The brain is not designed to ever completely forget ANYTHING, but with proper training both the pain and the fear can be mitigated or eliminated. Our minds have the ability to place memories where we won't easily recall them. We all forget things at times. Could it be due to the fact that we no longer prioritize them? We all have scoured our brains to recall something forgotten. This seems to imply that we can never truly forget anything! We interact on three levels; physically, mentally and spiritually. Healing may be needed for any or all of them. It is imperative to undergo some form of physical therapy whenever we injure any muscle or a limb. Although healing and restoration are natural processes, many times our bodies need additional assistance. Too few of us consider the rehabilitation of our brains and minds after experiencing emotional, psychological and spiritual trauma. This is how P.T.S.D. works. This exacerbates the mental health crisis we're facing today. Healing is a physical, mental and spiritual process evidenced in our mobility, conduct and feelings. Although true and complete healing is holistic, our traditional approach has been fragmented. Never forget that the body, mind and spirit are so interconnected that every psychosomatic connection has significance. Recovery must occur mutually in body, mind and spirit. Our spirit is the gateway for thoughts and intentions. When our spirit is grieved it manifests in our thoughts and feelings, that is our brains and minds. The fact of the matter is that we are hardwired not to forget. However there is a place in the brain that the mind uses to store and repress bad or distressing memories so that we can move on. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to form and reorganize synaptic connections. Sometimes people get stuck in memories from the past and find it difficult to deal with the present. We can rewire our thinking therapeutically to enable our minds to be healed and rehabilitated just like our bodies. Not being able to move-on due to a constantly relived memory is like being stuck in Dementia or Alzheimer's trying to access things that have been deposited into the forget me box. These patterns of behavior foster increased frustration. Spirits of anxiety fear and feebleness can create critical crossroads that must be mentally bridged. The body can be repaired and the brain can be remapped. Forgiveness is an example of this remapping process. How do we forgive and forget? This can only be done through grace. Life operates through the grace of trial and error, second chances and "if at first we don't succeed try again." We can also become extensions of that grace and conduits for forgiveness. Forgiveness actually casts all offenses into the DEPTHS OF THE SEA. Although they exist they are hard to find. The only way to recall them is when we fish them up. The "spirit of fear" is far more deceptive and wily then we know. When we speak of fear most of us generally relate it to something scary or being afraid. Fear is all this and more. The "spirit of fear" operates intimately with our beliefs and ego to get us to embrace concepts and practices that appear to be "seemingly" logical yet they are without true merit. Fear makes sense of practices that are not practical. Most insurance policies are sold through fear. Many self destructive habits originate from the fear of letting go of the familiar even if it works against us. We are not encouraging our readers to fear, "fear." As with most spirits, Fear has good qualities too. Fear can serve as a constructive agent teaching us patience and respect, or as a destructive agent that troubles us by producing turmoil.
THIS IS A WAR! Truces, surrender, stalemates, prisoners and detente are not an option. We are engaged in a life long battle whether we realize it or not. No one is exempt. Just fighting back is reactionary and insufficient; we have to bring the fight back to them. Without a long term strategy we will not be able to hold on to the hard fought victories we've already won. This is a territorial war. These spiritual attacks are mentally and physically manifested within our lives, but measured in lost souls. Waking up to the realization that we have an invisible enemy may seem frightening. Most of us were not taught or told about the spiritual realm. Many of us acknowledge these spiritual kingdoms but live a lifestyle of denial. Society traditionally paint spirits as ghosts and apparitions with a lot of magical or mystical hype. This is far from the truth. There is a science to spirit just like everything else. We must embrace an attitude of awareness and openness that allows us to learn with a "spirit of understanding." When we adopt the attitude to beware rather then to "be aware," we are guided by a "spirit of fear." Our fight, flight or freeze response to stressful situations may cause us to lean towards avoidance rather then facing challenges. Avoidance is a way of ignoring fact, delaying the inevitable and denying truth. In the long run, this tactic requires more energy than would have been used in addressing the issue. This type of energy requires the same maintenance as keeping up with a lie and creates stress through fear. Fighting an unknown, unseen and unidentified enemy is impossible! Identifying and addressing our common adversary is critical! Knowing our enemies tactics and weapons gives us an edge. Our mainstream education does not cover spiritual warfare. It is important to remember that spirits have intelligence and operate through ignorance, fear and seduction. Overall, spirits generally will not reveal their true operating state, they'd rather appeal to our appetites, eyes or ego. One of the main weapons at our disposal for fighting this warfare is "LIGHT." Light exposes whatever is hidden. Spirits operating outside of their authority or our control want to avoid being exposed. Sometimes resistance is not enough and the demons that fled return like pigeons to breadcrumbs. It is often necessary to expose spirits, their vessels, their ways and their works publicly. Making their devices examples informs and instructs others, sets boundaries, limits damage and sets standards for future tactical maneuvers. These steps also sends a message and warning to other spirits. OUR BEHAVIORS & BELIEFS MAKE OR BREAK OUR CYCLES OF SUFFERINGFill the prescription and always finish the medicine. Anyone who has ever taken an antibiotic, knows the drill: Finish the entire course of treatment, even if we feel better, or else risk a relapse. When an antibiotic fails to totally eradicate an infection or disease, we can unwittingly allow the infection or bacteria to develop a resistance to the treatment. Even worse, by not finishing some medications, we become capable of spreading the dangerous rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. "More than 2.8 million antibiotic-resistant infections occur in the U.S. each year, and more than 35,000 people die." Will we ever learn that style is no substitute for substance. The "spirit of negligence" fits into the category of a "self destructive spirit." Both neglect and abuse operate from the same spiritual source. We often sabotage ourselves and others by doing or not doing what's required even though we are aware of it. Sometimes we allow our feelings to deny or ignore behaviors that are abhorrent. Deception is simply believing the lies we tell ourselves. The Bible admonishes us not to believe every spirit (voice) that communicates with us regardless of who hosts it or how its hosted. We are beloved. As a result, God has provided us with tools to test or try (check out and evaluate) any spirit (personality or person) to determine if its source is sacred. We should not even believe our own thoughts if they are not in line with "spiritually principled" truths. The pathology of neglect or abuse can manifest a "spirit of retaliation." The pathology of lying can manifest deception and unfaithfulness. The pathology of infidelity can manifest jealousy and rage. The pathology of betrayal can manifest vengeance. The opposite of love is NOT hate, the opposite of love is hurt. The pathology of hurt opens the door to despise. Abusing the "spirit of love" despite the "spirit of grace" is the gateway to perdition. Feelings are not faucets that turn on and off, they are energy, and formidable weapons under the influence of spirit. Most crimes of passion are the by-product of being overwhelmed with emotions like grief, anger, and wrath. Many of us are still holding on to the "spirit of non-forgiveness" and have given ourselves the right keep these feelings in perpetuity. Many of these behaviors and "habits of spirit" are so subtle and cunning that we simply relegate their manifestations as hypersensitivity. Although we tend to concentrate on not committing sin, spirits specialize in exploiting and using our own iniquities against us. There is always some rationale behind expressing emotions like anger, disgust, despising, jealousy, wrath, and hate. All Emotions have a purpose. Some of them are easily triggered and result from broken contracts. Any unfulfilled intention, spoken as a promise, is a lie! We need so much more of our common communications, correspondence and exchanges hold up to spiritual scrutiny. We don't believe in spirituality because it can be visibly seen. We look at things spiritually because through it we see more clearly. Rather then envisioning ourselves as givers of truth, let's prefer to be seen as pointers towards truth. Our goal is to point others towards their very own epiphany. Nothing here is written in stone. We take no credit for the sources, only the synthesis. Our written and spoken perspectives do not come from clinical training or any specific religious indoctrination. Our conclusions are not considered to be all encompassing or complete. Our convictions are open to be challenged scrutinized and vetted. Any merit generated from these writings are for the benefit of all. THERE ARE SPIRITS THAT INDUCE PSYCHOSOMATIC MANIFESTATIONS WHETHER WE ACKNOWLEDGE IT OR NOT!In our final analysis, what we have discussed here are patterns of behavior or manifestations associated with various known "spirits of habit." Habits like "familiar spirits" abide within our comfort zone and find protection within our "always ready to defend oneself attitude." What so many of us are dealing with is a monstrous catch 22 scenario of developed habits we are comfortable with. They are sustained by a cycle of self styled logic combined with a mentality that actually feeds the "Beast" created by those behaviors. The "Beast" gets fed whenever anyone housing these "spirits" allows them expression. In the spiritual realm there are prisons and prisoners sentenced to living beneath their privilege. Many of the people influenced, subdued, captured and bound by these spiritual forces are unaware. Hostage negotiations are futile. The sentence has already been commuted! The only option for freedom is to break out and make the great escape already guaranteed. The emancipation proclamation was not realized by many slaves for years after it was declared. Freedom must be verbally declared to be truly achieved. There is a language that spirits respond to. This is why both verbal confessions and rebukes are so important. We cannot mentally or physically address spirit. We can address them audibly through words. Words are the gateway that bridges our two realms. Words spoke creation into existence and anointed words have the power over all spirits. This is why we must be so careful in all that we say. Jesus had to lead "captivity captive" and free us from our spiritual incarceration within the prison of sin. We make the choice. We can chose to operate from a liberated place within of a state of freedom or find a comfortable place in bondage. Contrary to how we feel or think about it, there is NO middle ground. Most of us would like to believe that there is some spiritually impartial zone to abide in but there is not. The Bible says "let your communications be yea yea or nay nay: for whatsoever is more then these cometh of evil." In another scripture Jesus exclaimed, "He that is not with me is against me and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." The failure to stand for something make us susceptible to falling for anything. "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Our allegiance to righteousness must be voluntarily expressed out of a "willing spirit." An apathetic, indifferent or "sheepish" attitude does not excuse us from the responsibility of maintaining a moral standard and being our brothers keeper. "Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" Spirits do not influence us to operate logically as we think they do. For example, the 'spirit of pride" can utilize the "spirit of shame" and compromise our integrity through "lying and deceitful spirits." We are no match against spiritual wickedness in high places, but we can take authority, responsibility, make amends and move forward. Sometimes we must make amends with both spirits and people. An abused spirit is aware of who, how, when and where its energies were exploited. Repentance followed by positive actions can create positive energies of gratitude and respect. We should honor our bodies through our diet, exercise, sleep and interactions. In like manner we should honor "our spirit" and the spirits we engage with from day to day through discipline, honesty, integrity and temperance. Life requires balance. Righteous living is not religious it is realistic. Please keep in mind that this post in no way contradicts or opposes traditional therapies. The truth is that we need the use of complementary technologies to work in conjunction with spiritual science. We advocate the use of psychology along with psychiatry and its chemical/drug therapies when necessary. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to treatments of any kind. We should apply these principles on a case by case basis and study to show ourselves approved. Anyone who has read through this entire post probably recognizes how significant this subject is, even if they are not in total agreement. We admonish our readers to put on the whole armor of God. Do not take what we have written here lightly. There is no time for sleeping or reacting with defense. Fight the good fight of faith going forward without the fear of confronting and facing the enemy. By including the spiritual aspects to all of our endeavors we will see more clearly.
