TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM - TRUTH OR DARE![]() The "new normal," a phrase society has coined to mean returning to a semblance of how thing were, is not an accurate way to depict the future. In the past we have operated under the assumption that the way things were, was the way they probably would remain. Of course there would be advances and inventions but these things would simply make life better or easier. Change is inevitable but most people resist change. The word change implies different, new, shifting or switching, but we will focus on evolving. As most of us know, evolution is an inevitable ongoing process. We evolve both naturally and spiritually through progress and problems. In Actuality, it is the advent of difficulties and issues that encourages and enables us to evolve or change. Still, one of the biggest problems with change is how we apply it. Most people like to apply change externally to other people or things rather then themselves. What we will discover in this post, is that evolution is dynamically related to us all. We are bound by the effect of our own causes, and as such we must be "the change" that we want to see. Normal is a static state in a dynamic world. Normal is what we decide and define as acceptable or average according to some practice or standard. For instance, it is normal to work during the day and sleep at night, except those who work a evening shift then its not normal. It is normal to eat three meals a day except if it's unaffordable or inaccessible, then its not normal. We can make almost anything we want to be normal. In this country, for poor people we have normalized, lack of health care, substandard housing and some level of hunger. These are the 3 H's wherein society determines what is normal. As it pertains to evolving, normal should be applied more as a standard then a state. As society grows, evolves and changes it continues to redefine what is acceptable and/or normal. We can no longer look away when three or four police officers gang up on a single person and render them unconscious or dead. We are still searching the internet for any evidence on video of any privileged or white people being subjected to similar circumstances. It should be obvious to us all that being forcibly held down under the weight of someone on our legs, while another is on our waist, while another is on our chest and torso; as they or even another maintains a neck or choke hold is absolutely outrageous. Things that in times past were deemed to be admissible have finally and suddenly become reprehensible. We can anticipate that many actions, policies or symbols once regarded as normal may become the victim of censorship or eradication. During a "paradigm shift" anything from images to literature and names can be targeted. Many may ask, "where will it all end?" There may not be an answer for that question; except to say that "this is where it begins." However, permanent solutions can never be reached through desecration or vandalism. Any action taken that bypasses a dialogue or gives others a chance to express differing points of view misses the rare opportunity to educate and inform those that oppose change. Drastic actions perpetuate the same feeling of helplessness that was imposed upon those of us who now demand change. It is through change that the process of healing can begin. When destructive attitudes and thinking are exposed they can be addressed. Simply condemning or shunning feelings and behaviors has a tendency to drive them underground. It seems that we've been doing exactly that. In our present culture, being different, having a divergent viewpoint or making a mistake is seen as a cause for contempt. Just look at our present environment. We now fear expressing our opinions on political issues. This fear keeps us from open dialogue and exchange. The competing cultures within our feuding parties not only criticize dissenters but are prepared to ostracize them too! EVEN THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES PRACTICES NAME CALLING AND SHAMING. ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH EITHER OF THE OTHER POLITICAL PARTIES MIGHT BE LABELED AS AN ENEMY OR INSULTED BY DEROGATORY NAMES! This is how the "spirit of repression" drives all challenges and dissent underground. When the "spirit of hate" is not dealt with, it festers like a rotting sore and later resurfaces as an infection. The bottom line is that change has to works on multiple levels of existence to be effective, because it's both needed and normal. ![]() Contrary to popular beliefs, evolution is a process that is controlled, shaped and shared by all of creation. Spiritually, as a species, balance and harmony requires that we simultaneously grow and evolve together. Our evolution runs concurrently with advancements and inventions. The coinciding progress of new discoveries and solutions as we evolve complements our headway and illustrates the connectivity of all of life. No sooner then we run into a "new problem" a "new invention or solution" arises to solve it. What seems to be most dangerous to us all is not to evolve. No wonder they say "necessity is the mother of invention." We would like to say, that as necessities emerge "they themselves" (the problems) birth a panacea that must be discovered by man. Today, we have progressed into a paradigm of a spiritual predicament. We normally expect to find an antidote to be readily available, but where is it? We actually believe that the cure, remedy and/or treatments for Covid-19 already exists. However the "spirit of competition" has subordinated the "spirit of cooperation" and as a result it will take longer to discover or unearth these solutions. The continuation of our current virus crisis is being driven more by our separate social behaviors then by the virus itself. A collaborative and cooperative spirit mitigates divisive actions and derogatory rhetoric. It's simple math, two wrongs don't add up to one remedy. As the saying goes, "two wrongs don't make a right." Calling people names is just wrong no matter who does it or what platform is used. Shame on you CNN, FACEBOOK, FOX, MSNBC, TWITTER or any other platform that allows this type of behavior. We must have the integrity to call a wrong a wrong no matter who commits it. The deed is not the person. We can correct the person by condemning the deed. Even when we disagree it can be done civilly. People don't have to like the president but they still should respect the office! Greater influence comes through being polite rather then being perverse. According to Genesis 1:28 man was given the authority over all of the earth to subdue it and exercise dominion over it. This established a spiritual order. Unfortunately we have perverted our authority and cursed our own planet. As we evolve, so do the problems we face. Maybe the universe is withholding its answers because we haven't used the solutions that are already available for clean energy, air and water. It may be that the ramifications of abusing and polluting the planet are producing the effects we are facing. We have evolved to a point where the solutions to hunger, pollution and poverty are known but the will to perform whats needed is being subverted by greed. It seems that the "spirit of profit" has taken priority over the welfare of the planet, the people and all the creatures living on it. We have allowed individual ideologies to take precedence over practicality and science. Consciousness is a shared entity. Consciousness has a spiritual component that brings "consensus" along with it. If we allow our thinking to evolve rather then resist inevitable change, there may still be a window of opportunity left to mitigate the multiple effects society as a whole will be experiencing as a result of the corona-virus. With a unified strategy we can mount a united response to the problems we face as a people. Masks, should not be an issue of dissension in a civilized society; no more then seat belts were when they became mandatory in cars. Even if we chose not to wear them at least they are there. Safety is safety, we can mandate it but it is consciousness that enforces it. This is the power of both psychological and spiritual influences. It is the inconsistent conflicting advise and failure to model behavior that is having the greatest spiritual impact upon us all. There is no need for us to build ourselves up by putting others down. Life's path leads us towards evolving regardless of how extreme policies turn, how far we get off path or how radical change becomes. ![]() Where we are now and whats happening now cannot, does not and should not be allowed to define America. Each obstacle we overcome allows America to grow and evolve. Yes, America's identity is fraught with the legacy of colonialism, genocide and slavery. The evidence of our past actions continues to unfurl layer by layer. We know as when peeling an onion, that the closer we get to the core the stronger its scent and effects becomes. The more we peel back the skin called scales; what was at first unbearable at the outer layer called the tunic becomes even more intolerable at the core. As we proceed forward there will be additional unanticipated collateral damage. The reminder and awakening of buried, forgotten and suppressed memories will become an additional burden upon minorities. Expect this to become a factor within the mental health crisis that we are already beginning to experience. This is our best opportunity to kill multiple birds with one stone. If we attack disease, disparity and racism collectively maybe we can get beyond "secondary causes" and stop "Majoring in the Minors." These are the "eggshell conversations" that must occur. For real change to occur, a dichotomy of acceptance and rejection must take place. Some of the things that have been tolerated must become intolerable to all of society. For real change to remain, some of the things we've failed to incorporate must be incorporated. We should prepare ourselves for the inevitable influx of stress related mental maladies. It would be counterproductive to go back to a "normal" which was broken. To evolve is to change and grow not only in mind but also in "form." This is what is called transformation. This year signals the age of a new paradigm, and presents us with an opportunity to actually see ourselves evolve. It's 2020, and as one of our readers named John replied, "we can either go through it, or grow through it. We are the agents of evolution and change. We must understand that as a planet we have evolved and reached a stage where none of us are safe unless all of us are safe. Look at the spirit of a people that have been abused, enslaved, experimented on, exploited, fleeced, killed, murdered, tortured and have endured every imaginable indignity known to man. This modern day holocaust seemingly justifies retribution and revenge. Thank God that the spirit of the people victimized by these atrocities generally embrace a "spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation" rather then revenge. Black people seek equality not retaliation. Right now the "spirit of fear" may continue to hinder the "spirit of harmony" but eventually even the "spirits of Nationalism and Separatism" must take a back seat to the "SPIRIT OF LOVE." As one of our readers informed us, Love is action and through L.U.V., Lets Underwrite Victory! We endeavor to present each of our posts from a practical and factually based spiritual perspective. So little of our communications, correspondence and exchanges are spiritually based. We don't believe in spirituality because it can be visibly seen. We look at things spiritually because through it EVERYTHING else is seen more clearly. Rather then envisioning ourselves as givers of truth, we prefer to be seen as pointers towards truth. We must train one another to think and not do the thinking for one another. Our goal is to point others towards their very own epiphany. Nothing here is written in stone. We take no credit for the source, only the synthesis. Our perspectives may be applicable but our conclusions are not considered to be all encompassing or complete. We are simply taking a stand and anyone who desires to stand for something should begin by standing for decency.

TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM - TRUTH OR DARE![]() What is "Majoring in the Minors?" Sometimes the details are not important. Still, as the saying goes, "the devil is in the details." But do we really need to keep up with every aspect, cause, element, feature or move involved? Is it necessary to nitpick at all of the particulars? The particulars are just that, particles or individual parts of a whole. This is not to imply that we should not be specific. Our main purpose continues to be examining cause, posing questions and holding everybody capable accountable. Our goal is simple. We can not lose focus and must stay spiritually on track. The fact is that even in writing these posts we strive to be as concise and to the point as possible. However, at times many of our entries are convoluted with explanations, history, small tidbits and other relative background information we perceive to be essential. The theme behind this entry "Majoring in the Minors," comes from a phrase coined by a young audio/video technician named Adam. During a conversation we had in late 2019, he expressed dismay over how divided our country had become. The strangest thing was that although we had just met, as we talked, we found far more similarities then differences in our thinking. While we worked together towards a common occupational goal we discussed and shared our thoughts. Although there were notable differences in our age, religion, race and backgrounds, our dialogue continued to revolve around the theme, "Majoring in the Minors." We reached the mutual conclusion that the issues we were discussing then did not really address the core of our concerns. They appeared to be distractions and side shows that focused on symptoms but not the real subject matters. Our mutual deduction was that, more often then not, we are simply "Majoring in the Minors." What's most alarming is that rather then addressing real systemic problems we are supplanting them with related issues that only deal with the symptoms but not the cause. For example, our battle against the Covid-19 coronavirus has been one of the most closely watched and documented events throughout the world. The number of charts, diagrams, maps and statistics following its path are overwhelming. As we now see, opposing parties can interpret the same data in ways that are more confusing than informative. If we fail to respond correctly and don't change our behavior as a society we can inadvertently make this pandemic endemic to our country or certain parts of it. Many people do not understand the real difference between an epidemic, a pandemic, an outbreak or what endemic means. Unfortunately we are caught in the middle of a real spiritual war in which many of us will fall victim to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. The warring parties are unaware of how they're being manipulated and believe themselves to be both right and righteous. In their effort to win they are willing to compromise their integrity and make their points by "Majoring in the Minors." Everyone seems to have some understanding about the law of cause and effect. However causation isn't always as obvious as it seems. We have a tendency to concentrate on, address and attack the symptoms rather then the cause. In diagnostics we often find that the source of a problem or pain is not always the cause of the problem or pain. Every cause has an effect, and every effect can potentially spawn multiple causes. The fact is that in life we all function and interact at three different levels; Intellectually, physically and spiritually. In life, the energy behind all causation is spiritual. In this our present form, the laws that govern how we tangibly interact are physical. However the most controversial and fallible aspect of our functionality, regarding how we understand it all, is intellectual. ![]() Although we can exercise full control over our conscious mind, many people fail to realize that the mind has a "mind" of its own. In other words our minds, "mind" what we believe or don't believe. Our minds "mind" takes note and may take exception to what we do or to what we want to do. Our minds "mind" develops rigid thought patterns and then creates comfort zones that protect the way we think. Our minds "mind" stands ready to fight against any and all alternative thought patterns or intrusions. This is the cause of what we call our "state of mind." In fact our "state of mind" is both intellectual and spiritual. We develop our minds Intellectually through the experiences of observing, learning, applying and obeying the physical laws and social cues that govern our material world. Our "spiritual understanding" however, must be spiritually developed apart from and outside of "intellectual logic and reasoning." Although these two components of our singular existence are complementary in function they're applications are unique. The laws governing the physics of life are secondary to the laws governing the essence and forces of life, which are spiritual. Most of the "secondary causes" that we believe are behind the things we commonly observe in the material world have been discovered, documented, practiced, and proven. An untrained intellect finds it logical and rational to assume that "secondary origins" are the "primary cause" of what we see. The "primary cause" of all occurrences which originate in the spiritual kingdom come not by observation, but can be discerned or learned if embraced in faith. In other words "spiritual causation" does not logically follow the same thread of intellectual sense that we observe with physical matter. Spiritual science, although connected, differs from physical science and our intellect must be informed of and recognize the differences. "Spiritual causation" follows a deeper esoteric "science of spirit" that transcends but also complements the laws of nature. The main fundamental of all spiritual law requires setting an example. Every ruler or person in authority is held to a higher level of scrutiny and moral standard. Their example sets the tone for others to follow. It is the Church and our religious institutions that are responsible to cry aloud against spiritual heresy. Their job is not to endorse or condemn any party or person. The job of spiritual leadership is to serve as a watchdog for righteousness. After all "we are the salt of the earth!" There is a spiritual realm and we are spiritual beings. We don't believe in spirituality because it can be visibly seen. We look at things spiritually because through it EVERYTHING else is seen more clearly. Rather then envisioning ourselves as givers of truth, we prefer to be seen as pointers towards truth. Nothing here is written in stone. We take no credit for the source, only the synthesis. Our perspectives may be applicable but our conclusions are not considered to be all encompassing or complete. We are living in a "culture" that supports another culture of enforcement in a very discriminatory way. It is important to understand the nature of a biological or spiritual culture. In the broadest and most inclusive definition we can muster up a culture is a collective manifestation unique to a particular group or organism that characterizes the way it functions, maintains itself and operates. Once we know how to culture a virus we can determine whether it is infectious though its cytopathic effects. We define human cultures through examining the manifestations of their various collective acts and intellectual achievements. There is a culture (spirit) that abides within law enforcement that was spawned from a racist premise and continues until this day. The "blue/cop" culture is not specifically racist. Although there may be racism within its ranks the culture is authoritarian. No, all cops are not bad. As a matter of fact the vast majority are decent individuals. The real issue is not the cops themselves but the culture, that is the environment they are forced to be a part of. Like any fraternity they slowly adapt to and adopt the "spirit of that culture." It is systemic. Yes, the police need retraining but the system needs to be reconstructed or replaced. The culture itself gives rise to the racism we see and experience. Whatever the biases or predispositions an officer comes in with must be challenged and removed that they may be fit for duty. Yes, there are some rotten apples among them, and as the old saying goes "one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. Combine this with an authoritarian culture that functions with some level of impunity and we've got ourselves a militarized group with a somewhat renegade attitude (spirit). So "Majoring in the Minors" will not address the core of the problem, it will only treat the symptoms and the invisible virus will continue to affect anyone who has not been vaccinated. Once the proper spirit/attitude/behavior/consciousness/culture/environment/system has been established we will have policing that follows the motto of protect and serve. We are compelled to compare the different systems that are used to coordinate and control us. If law enforcement can demand and/or determine our identity so quickly, what makes it so difficult to instantly verify voters? Why in the midst of our technological revolution is even "virtual" banking so secure but voting is not? SCIENCE HAS BEEN SEARCHING FOR THE MISSING LINK. WE HAVE FOUND IT CLICK HERE!![]() Today's Technologies are shedding a new light upon abuses in the same way that television did for the civil rights movement of the sixties. It appears that the culture/consciousness of our citizenry and many of our police departments are predisposed to have some level of animosity or fear for people with a darker hue. The title and culture of policing must be changed to "public safety" rather then "law enforcement." Although they must work in multiple capacities, a police officer's main focus should be oriented towards assistance and being assertive before aggressive, in that exact order. We need to examine the root of the cause, not just address the conditions. Regardless of whether they are a young child or grown adult, people of color (another racist characterization) are very likely to be harassed, arrested, hunted down and killed for the most minor of offenses or reasons. Whether they are sleeping in a car, walking from a store, jogging down the road, driving or parking questionably and/or just present; the fear of being in the wrong place at the wrong time has become their way of life. We know that these conditions are unique to minorities because we don't see or hear about white people being killed over a mistaken cell phone, toy gun or candy bar. Some people have responded to the "Black Lives Matter" movement and slogan by responding that all lives matter; and its true! This is another example of "Majoring In The Minors." What many people fail to realize is that all lives will not matter until black lives matter too! Where is the response from our federal government? A national issue requires a nationally unified response in the same manner that a worldwide pandemic calls for a worldwide coordinated response. It is so-o-o-o refreshing to see so many of our celebrities finally speaking out and stepping up. How are we all in this together when the "spirit of division and divisiveness" seems to be ruling the day? The culture of our country has been allowed to descend into pettiness and offensive name calling. Why are our leaders engaged in bullying behavior. Consciousness has a trickle down effect. If parents curse, expect vulgarity from their children. When we accept irresponsible behavior we also encourage it. The pandemic is not over! Our federal governments response to racism mirrors its response to covid-19. We must demand better. This is not the time to throw in the towel. Although finding a quick solution is improbable our demise is not inevitable. We can no longer pass the buck, avoid, delay or hope that the crisis will pass. Let's be proactive rather than reactive. Now that we know what it feels like to be separated socially and quarantined, this is also a good time to examine our court system, sentencing disparities and prisons. Maybe we should take another look at our cruelty to animals and consider the civility shown towards animals caged in our zoos. When our Perspectives expand we simultaneously grow in our understanding of the effects an experience can cause. We must admit that racism is endemic in our society today. We cannot resolve what we do not acknowledge. It is refreshing that so many "other" races and cultures are finally speaking up and stepping out from their exclusive residents and gated communities to stand up for the average citizen. The story of the life of Major Taylor encapsulates the black experience in this country. It is important not to settle for or sleep on the meanings behind many of the reactions to change. We should expect both backlash and repercussions against the people and policies of change. Maybe a lynching or two will appease the wrath of some dissenters. Throughout history the "road to progress" has always been paved with the "blood of humans!" Remember, the corona-virus has become the catalyst for exposing the infectious systemic infestations nurtured by the consciousness of society. The tragic murders and slaughter of human beings seen and witnessed on video have once again pierced the conscious of the masses. We cannot un-see or remove it from our memories! Society now is forced to wear the scars of slavery. We all share some responsibility in that we permitted the perpetuation of racism. This is simply cause and effect. We are bound by the effects of our own "primary" causes. WE ARE ALL GUILTY OF REMAINING SILENT OVER THE YEARS AND NOT EXPRESSING OUR INDIVIDUALLY "CONTROLLED" OUTRAGE COLLECTIVELY. WE WATCHED WHILE THIS DIVISIVE TREND AND THESE "SPIRITS" APPARENTLY INFLUENCED AND CORRUPTED MANY OF OUR LEADERS ALONG WITH THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF OUR NATION. This was the license to do what we all have done at one time or another. When we chose consciously or unconsciously, to remain unseeing in situations where “we could know, and should know, but didn't know, because it made us feel better not to know.” Neither silence nor violence is acceptable. We have started a dialogue that must continue in perpetuity. We should not focus on any of the *ACTORS* involved in these obvious abuses; neither the perpetrators or the victims. We must focus on the *ACTIONS* that took place and condemn the *ACTS* by proclaiming them (the acts) as reprehensible. Stop picking sides. Start standing up for principles regardless of who they may be applied to. We must embrace a "spirit of change," but For change to take place we must articulate the changes we want. TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM - TRUTH OR DARELIFE MAY BE BETTER LEARNED LOOKING BACKWARDS, BUT IT MUST BE LIVED GOING FORWARD. ![]() It's easy to get off track or lose our way when distracted by a crisis. However, reality has no favorites or biases. Life itself is impartial. We perceive and project favoritism from within our own consciousness through how we see things. Certainly some people are privileged and are born into advantage, but that's only in status not in value. In order to remain viable we must continue to grow. In the spiritual kingdom there is no neutral ground or stagnation only regress or progress. We are either for or against and are either ripening or rotting. Waking up each day is a daily process of renewal. When we realize, accept and embrace this daily miraculous phenomena we can use this power to restore and create life's experiences in ourselves and others. We must understand that as descendants of our father, the creator of the universe, we ourselves are creators too. Everything we do is a creative act by default. We create not only within ourselves and our environments but also within others. The more we search for the good in those that appear contrary, and "refuse to focus" on the faults of those who fail, the better we can assist them, by pointing the way to them rather then pointing a finger at them. This is a principle that is difficult to embrace. Many of the concepts we espouse are esoteric and spiritually founded upon biblical fundamentals and truth. There is only "one truth"and if we search for it in every situation it can be revealed to us. The more truth we discover and practice within ourselves the more truth will exposed itself to us. No one has their own truth. We have got to get past the notion that we or anyone else is perfect or is capable of doing anything perfectly. We are all imperfect. As we are exposed to more and more truth we become aware of our prior shortsightedness and incomplete understanding in multiple areas of life. To claim perfection in character, word or deed is blasphemous and deceptive. The physician William Mayo one of the founders of The Mayo Clinic prayed, "Lord deliver me from the man who never makes a mistake, and also from the man who makes the same mistake twice." We should hope that most of America was not "consciously" aware of how bad racial tensions were in this country until they flared up once again. Awareness comes through exposure and exposure comes from experiences. Every experience is a learning opportunity. Taking an excerpt from the book by John C. Maxwell, entitled "Sometimes you win, Sometimes you learn;" to maintain a beginners mindset we should keep the following three things in mind. Number one, Everyone has something to teach us. Number two, every day we have something to learn. Number three, every time we learn something, we benefit. As we all move forward accepting one another's imperfections, it is important to remember that our thoughts and talk form the energy and actions that we share and impose upon all we come into contact with. More people have been murdered by the words of our mouths that stem from the meditations of our hearts then all of the casualties of wars combined. Now that we've reached a place where many inequities have come out into the open, the luxury to pretend they don't exist has been removed. Acknowledgement of truth, accepting truth and acting truthfully is the formula we need to proceed. Sometimes to advance forward we must look backwards to insure the mistakes of the past are not repeated. It's time to awaken even more and expand our consciousness to tackle other issues before they also turn into a crisis. Remember, we are still in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. As a result, George Floyd will not be the only victim of police brutality. Many of those who protested on his behalf are sure to fall victim to infection on his behalf. We are and have always been a global society. The United States, under our current leadership has now separated us from two very important global entities. Why is it that this worlds leading and most powerful country is neither on board with the Paris Climate Agreement or the World Health Organization. A divisive "spirit of separatism" has now infiltrated and permeated the consciousness of our government. We must hope it will finally dawn on our leaders that it is impossible to partition a bubble! HOW CAN WE SHARE OUR COMMON AIR AND NOT CONSIDER EVERYWHERE? Is this the air we all must breathe? Is this the lie we must believe? Is it ourselves that we deceive? Is this the legacy we leave? Is there a choice, please answer me? Is there a path we do not see? In spite of all that should not be. More unity means v-i-c-t-o-r-y. Let's have a posture and a stance. To work and properly advance. So all the world might be enhanced. And give ourselves a better chance. For those of us who have not considered the inter-connectivity of all things, now is the time to create that awareness within our consciousness. America had told itself a lie and believed its own "bill of goods" sold to itself. We wanted to believe that "opportunity" equaled "equity or equality" but it doesn't. Although it may seem that "opportunity" guarantees access; it happens that equal access or equal treatment only comes through "seeing everyone equally" at the core of our consciousness. There's a lesson to be learned here which is, "Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should do it." We have reached a stage of greed that has compromised our principles for profit. The love of money is the predominate force or cause behind the effects we're facing. We must not be deceived into assuming that what seems to be the consensus in conscious expression now, will carry on in the "spirit of action" later. Our legislation and laws are at the core of our cultural and societal values. We experience and feel the power of our laws in the application and enforcement of our laws. We now have the choice to cultivate or terminate any toxic aspects of our government simply through budgeting. ![]() Years ago, the "spirit of our politics" could be pictured in a way that reflected the governance depicted in the movie "The Lion King." The past resembled a cooperative cross-section representative of all the animals in the jungle. The current hierarchy resembles the story of "The Bear The Wolf and The Fox" who when hunting together took down three deer. While discussing how to divide the spoils the wolf suggested to the bear that they each should get a deer. The bear responded by devouring the wolf. When the discussion resumed the fox suggested that the bear take the wolf's portion as well as his own and the bear agreed. The bear had always heard of how sly foxes were, and now felt that they were also wise. When the bear inquired as to where the fox had gotten his wisdom; the fox replied "it came from the wolf!" Today the wisdom of the wolf seems to have made the federal government unbearable. When we fail to surround ourselves with people brave and honest enough to speak into our lives, we become god's to ourselves and erroneously view ourselves as infallibly perfect. When we adopt the attitude of the bear we can expect to get criticism or receive feedback just once! We can all agree that the reality of the situations we currently face stem from a culmination of forces and factors that have divided us. It is apparent that we need a collective effort going forward. There are no independent or individual roads to reform. Unification can only occur if each individual unit feels and functions as a part of the whole. We don't have to be anti-police to be pro-reform. As we discuss, the "next issue" of, how we fund our police departments, expect the "spirit of dissension" to distract, divert and divide us. This is how the "spirit of division" works. Now more then ever we need to embrace a unified mission that addresses and examines policing without "throwing out the baby with the bath water." There are far more instances of helpful compassionate policing then there are of abusive practices. We all know that "bad news travels fast" and "that no good deed goes unpunished." Common sense teaches us that It is absolutely impractical and illogical to eliminate policing. The power and authority given to police officers is just as important as the access, freedom and respect that must always be afforded to the press. In the same way that the label "fake news," tarnishes the reputation of all news; we cannot discredit all of law enforcement with the shame that some bad apples bring upon it. Yes, there are systemic issues in law enforcement but let's not fool ourselves; those same systemic issues stem from the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of our government. The manifestations are most visible at the levels of society that regularly engage or interact with the police. The origin of the problem is not with the police. It is systemic! The police are the most visible subsystem of a larger core system representing the consciousness within the policies of our culture. The police departments mission to protect and serve has been perverted to serve only a smaller portion of the most affluent people in society. The "spirit of hyPocRisy and partiality" from the heights of our leadership has historically "infected" society and "foisted" their corruption upon our police forces. We have never actively recruited the "specialized" type of persons required for that type of occupation, because our leaders marginalized and under-prioritized the proletariat's (regular folk) value. Everybody knows "that you get what you pay for." Without the proper type of people, training and commensurate levels of pay we will never really address this problem. Don't forget we ask the police to deal with any and every type of situation we have in society. They are asked to be enforcers, peace keepers, problem solvers, negotiators, advisers, comforters, counselors and community caretakers. It has become increasingly clear that the average officer is neither called or equipped to do this type of work. This is similar to the problems being passed down by societies poor parenting to the teachers in our schools. Teaching is also a "calling" that requires "specialized" people to perform a specialized job. We cannot disband or totally defund either of these necessary agencies, they are apart of the foundation of our society. Reform requires reviews and recitals. Although we are experiencing some knee jerk and extreme reactions to our racist policing culture; we must never forget that the real issue is not a legislative or intellectual one of the brain, it is a humanitarian spiritual one of the heart. For real results we need to focus on real issues. If we really want to address policing we must address the need and cause for policing. Less crime requires lees policing. ![]() The truth of the matter is that if we really aggressively addressed housing, poverty, healthcare & education; that the reality would in turn create a friendly, healthier, wealthier and smarter environment. This would give the Eric Garner's of this world an alternative to selling loose cigarettes for money. This might keep the George Floyd's of this world from coming into contact with or passing a fake twenty dollar bill. Just as necessity is the mother of invention, in reality our environment is the foundation for our behaviors. A poverty experience in turn breeds a poverty mindset. We all are a product of our genetics and the teachings of our environment. Surely a real investment in creating the right types of environments would be more cost effective then policing and regulating any out of control ones. When will our society learn that preventative actions are far more cost effective then remedial actions? We create many of our own calamities through greed and neglect. There is very little need for doctors if there is no sickness. So why not really stress eating right and maintaining healthy lifestyles. There is less of a need for firemen if there are no fires. Maybe this is why we mandate that sprinklers, hydrants, smoke alarms and fire suppression systems be installed in every community. There is very little need for policing if there is no crime. Perhaps we should look to eliminate crime by not creating environments that breed criminals. To eliminate pests we get exterminators to kill them, but if we really want to stay rodent free we keep the trash bins sealed and the area clean. Speaking spiritually, it is unfortunate that we forget about and/or underestimate our own creative nature. The reality is that we create the conditions and environments that we are surrounded by. Even if we do not realize that we are giving form to thought, we do so by default. Our "spiritual understanding" informs us that the conditions we deal with are the result and an effect of what we cause. Reality require no defense neither does it need to defame dissenters. Going back to reality establishes present truth through proving the accuracy of the past positions. This is not how we confirm our beliefs or validate truth today. We first need to get past our own personal "confirmation bias" before we can change a narrative that only allows us to see through our own eyes and lies. In a nutshell it just a matter of honestly reviewing our personal positions and refuting our own pet lies believed and individually embraced. This is easier to do then then we might think. History always yields a more accurate perspective. Older lies are much easier to see and identify over time. Once believed, LIES need not be told again. Once embraced, LIES take on a life of their own. Once accepted, LIES present no distinctions between themselves and the truth. It is the "spirit of lying" that will prove hardest to remove, renounce, expose and eradicate. Many times, due to the strong feelings behind our cause we are willing to compromise the integrity of truth and use a little lie to make our point. These exaggerations, implications, innuendos and stories really cloud the power and purity of truth when even the smallest lie is injected or infused into it. The truth needs no assistance. The "spirit of a lie" doesn't care which side of an issue it influences. Ideally it wants to infect all parties so that every participant is guilty of indulging in some level of deceit. Without totally clean hands, neither side can really and honestly submit to the full power of the scrutiny that the "spirit of truth" provides. Reality demands a paradigm shift in our reasoning and thinking. Sometime the solution is so obvious and easy that its hard to believe it could be so simple. It's obvious that in an ideal world under ideal circumstances in an ideal environment inhabited by ideal people, that such ideal conditions would produce an ideal situation. We should all realize by now that it is the ideal we are striving for. Whatever falls short of ideal can be improved upon. Although it is idealistic it is also realistic. The human race is always improving. When we apply our energy and efforts first to the welfare of our fellow man before we tie it to the welfare and profit of our pockets, we will see that the improbable is possible and the difficult is doable. When the power of the pen and the power of the purse are projected through the power of our purpose we will have real progress! True reform will not occur without true repentance. When America finally acknowledges the reality of racism and repents with a readiness to remove every vestige and symbol of it; only then will spiritual deliverance come that will clean the consciousness of this country! Maybe then our nations capital, Washington D.C. will lead by example and refuse to promote racist names and symbols on any business or sports team associated with it. What is a "Redskin" anyway? In reality its just an "N' word describing Indians. TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM - TRUTH OR DARE![]() As we've written in our previous posts, what we are experiencing now is an ongoing series of events cascading sequentially and simultaneously. What's happening now, is that we are experiencing an increasing amount of sensory overload. It is important that we monitor our mental health and understand that the "spirit (feeling, attitude, behavior and consciousness) of pressure" (P.T.S.D.)has, is and will continue to affect us. Many of us are bewildered by this seemingly rapid series of events that have both national and international implications. Although it appears that these thing have occurred all of a sudden, that is not the case. It so happens that life generally ushers in changes gradually. Evolution is an ever ongoing process that is difficult to see because it occurs so slow. The process of spiritual growth (involution which precedes evolution) may also occur at a snails pace. So what happens is, even as we grow it's hard to get those closest to us to notice it. We all need unbiased feedback from trusted sources, and if we fail to get it or reject it we lose our ability to be balanced in judgement. In times like these we need strong and united leadership! Without unified clear messaging from our government it is easy to be confused by the mixed messages coming from The White House, Our State Houses and our City Halls. What has happened is that we've reached a point in time where we can no longer stall or delay the inevitable paradigm shift that is occurring. The circumstances are not new only our awareness of them. This new awareness and enlightenment forces us all to face the reality that we've been hiding from. What happened, is what we allowed, ignored, and pretended not to exist has revived! LEGALLY, WE ARE ALL GUILTY OF THE CRIME OF NEGLIGENCE, BEING AN ACCESSORY, ALONG WITH AIDING AND ABETTING. SPIRITUALLY, we are guilty of the Sin of omission! In the spiritual kingdom there is no neutral ground. Jesus said that "he that is not with me is against me, and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." MORALLY we are bankrupt in that we continue to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to our fellow man. The acts and manifestation by the kindred "spirits of oppression and racism" are not strictly an American problem; they are active worldwide. As with the corona-virus, America has become one of the hot spots or epic centers for the "spirit of hypocrisy." It so happens that we've deceived ourselves into believing and embracing our own "fake truths" and lies. What's happening is that the band-aid over the wound, America has used to cover its festering sore has been torn off. As a result we have exposed a fresh raw injury that is ulcerated, septic and filled with puss. Our battle against terrorism has turned against us. We now know that racism is the face of terrorism in disguise. What tends to happens over and over again, is that in the midst of all of this information and sensory overload, we lose the focus on our objectives. What we cannot afford to let happen is for the main message to be lost. Sometimes in the midst of our anguish and anger we don't even know what the message is. Emotions have a way of clouding our judgement and obscuring our vision. What we see happening is that this country is fighting a spiritual battle with carnal weapons that are ineffective. Racism is a taught and learned attitude, behavior and consciousness embraced spiritually. Once racism infiltrates the soul it feels rational and righteous. The multiple murders minorities experience under this guise are just the tip of the iceberg. These incidents, as common or uncommon as they may be are overt expressions of psychological conditioning and abuse on a much wider all-inclusive scale. This struggle, like many other battles is a spiritual fight against evil that laws and legislation can suppress but never fix. It is not the individual police officer that needs reformation, it is the system that needs fixing. We need to strive to convert the hearts and mind of our brethren who are under the influence of these spirits in the same way we rehabilitate an addict under the influence of drugs. DON'T JUST READ THIS. WE MUST STUDY & DISCUSs IT!![]() What we need to do is simple! Allow and encourage expression. What we mean by this is letting off steam verbally, venting and emotional release. Pent up frustration can be destructive and explosive. We need to encourage an exchange of conversation that allows everyone to express their opinions and views. Getting them out into the open is the goal. Talking, hearing and listening to one another, no matter how radical the beliefs are, is where we start. What we need to do is to start a dialogue that allows us to transform our pain into purpose and our fears into fortunes. What we have to do is illuminate and expose the consciousness of thought (spirit) behind the different feelings we all experience. We need to raise our voices and realize that our silence makes us all complicit in the disparity and violence we should all be against. Half of the work has already been done through the pandemic, the demonstrations, the protests and the rioting we've all experienced. THROUGH THESE EVENTS WE HAVE ALL BEEN PLACED ON COMMON GROUND! Common ground does not necessarily mean compromise. After all don't we mutually share the same goal of just wanting to live? Now that we've established that common ground; what we need to do is make sure that EVERYBODY is given a seat at the table. The blame game is no longer acceptable. The different media outlets pointing fingers at the president and one another is counter-productive. It is time to encourage EVERYBODY to engage in "taking responsibility" even if they are not the direct cause. Remember, it was our silence and/or lack of action that got us here. What we need to do is work cooperatively to frame these events in a way that is informative to all of us. Criticism should be offered as a vehicle for improvement rather the a way to defame or slander one another. We should constructively criticize from a perspective that presumes, whether true or not, that the subjects of our criticism are doing the best they can. What we need to do is refrain from saying things that seemingly reads into the minds of other peoples thinking and motives. Criticism can be constructive or destructive. The "spirit of criticism" is subject to the consciousness of the criticizer. Perhaps many well intention-ed people are being deceived. We know from the Bible that there are forces (spirits) capable of deceiving the whole world. It may appear that some leaders are purposely fanning the fires of racism but we cannot assume that their real intentions or motive is MEANT TO deliberately sow discord. Although many policies and tactics may be questionable we are not mind readers of intentions. Perhaps much of the overwhelming destructive criticism has precipitated many of the knee-jerk reactions we've witnessed. We are not making excuses for bad actions or judgement, we are keeping an open mind while seeking to find the common ground we all can walk on. The argument fostered by the "spirit of division" will not lean towards reconciliation. Expect the dialogue to divert our attention to the tit for tat arguments comparing two wrongs that don't make one right. Listen for the phrase "what about this or what about that." That is the manifestation of a "divisive spirit." In the final analysis we will be able to ABSOLUTELY label any act or action by this standard: RACISM IS WHAT RACISM DOES. What we need and expect to do is be the change we want to see. DO WE NEED TO LEGALIZE BEING BLACK?![]() We should expect a long hard uphill battle for equity (not equality) and justice. Equity is justice appropriately applied. We are all individually different but have equal rights. Our laws should be applied according to age, competency and fairness. Equality is a standard, equity is the application of that standard. We cannot impose the same standard on children as we do on adults. We have to create policies and laws that systematically insure this. The way "the system" now operates is neither equally or equitably. What we are currently doing is not making America great again, it's making America "hate" again. We should expect the arc to bend slightly in a way that we can visibly see. Dr martin Luther King once said that "the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice." Many people do not realize that this statement was a timely progressive rephrasing of the words spoken by the abolitionist Minister Theodore Parker who said,"I do not pretend to understand the moral universe. The arc is a long one." We should expect more attention to social issues that concentrate on the systemic inequalities, not any parties political agenda. Does the average person have equal access to the system? Can the average citizen influence how the system works? Is the system "FAIR" to all? Does the system address everyone's issues? Are the answers to each of these questions yes? We should expect other people and other nations with other issues to benefit by being recipients of the "spirit of change." Time is an ally if we know how to let it work and we work with it. Remember change requires effort, effort requires desire and desire is that invisible force of energy we use to initiate action. Desire nurtured consistently over an extended period of time always results in progressive action. Time is, and will be, an asset and an ally if we use it properly. We need time for healing, justice and peace. As we wait, time will allow us to paint a better picture and create a lasting legacy that includes all of the victims of oppression and racism. In time and through time the "spirit of forgiveness" can work to heal the hearts and minds of all of the victims of injustice. This is no time for revenge. It is in bad taste to embrace the "spirit of vengeance" to rejoice over another's demise. Although the "spirit of anxiety and impatience" feels overwhelming, speed is not what we need. Patience will be the virtue that sustains us and the memories of this time. The longer that the memory of these events linger in the consciousness of America the better we the people can understand the horror of all atrocities committed against people worldwide. Our job is to keep these memories fresh and alive. Once they are burned into the consciousness of all Americans in the same way it lives in the minds of minorities, the "spirit of reconciliation" can take affect. We should expect peace but not quiet. Stop the rioting and the violence but don't silence our voices. Black people are a forgiving race and culture of people. Much like the native American Indians, who suffered treaty after treaty broken again and again; black Americans in spite of their treatment have continued to support this country even after their hearts have been broken again and again. Maybe now we'll consider our impact upon the rest of the world when it comes to mother earth and the environment. We can continue to deny the mounting problems and ignore the warnings that our scientist are constantly giving and continue to abuse and pollute our own world. We should expect and demand a "plan of action" that addresses the present, past and future. We may not obtain the results we would like, all at once, but momentum will work for us if we keep our foot on the gas pedal. As we travel along the road to victory there will be bumps, detours, diversions and potholes. We should Expect some setbacks and disappointments but anticipate increased diversity and inclusion. We should all take pride in being a citizen in a country of people willing to risk their lives in the midst of a pandemic to stand for whats right. Most People are protesting at the risk of dying from a disease which generally attacks the respiratory system and could leave them in a state where "they can't breathe." The virus is a sign and a symbol of our apathy and negligence. We must all continue to take this virus seriously during this time of Conditions, Convergence and Consciousness. It will be a challenge to come together spiritually while maintaining our separation physically. Remember this is spiritual warfare. Our struggles are not against men, it is against mentalities, images and thinking that limits our growth and evolution. We are the cause of the effects we see in society. The "spirit of separatism," racism's first cousin, dies hard. Through ignorance most of it's victims embrace it even though they suffer the most under its effects. Unconscious bias is a spirit too. EXPECT CHANGE! wHAT WE HAVE WRITTEN HERE IS NOT ETCHED IN STONE. IT IS INTENDED TO BE BOTH COMPELLING AND OBVIOUS. RATHER THAN ENVISION OURSELVES AS THE GIVERS OF TRUTH WE PREFER TO SEE OURSELVES AS THE POINTERS TOWARDS TRUTH. WE TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THE SOURCE ONLY THE SYNTHESIS. |
