TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM![]() It was the social scientists of the twentieth century that popularized the term "unintended consequences," also called unanticipated consequences or unforeseen consequences. These are outcomes of a purposeful action that were neither intended nor foreseen. How many times in our lives have we experienced this ourselves? This post is about honestly examining mistakes. We are focusing on the lessons that all mistakes teach us. The word "consequence" contains the word "sequence" which denotes a domino effect in the order of events. Making mistakes is a normal maturation practice. No one or what they do is perfect. Without embracing (owning) and learning from errors our perspectives become warped. Making mistakes comes right along with making amends. This should continue to be the consciousness/spirit of governance. Unfortunately today's present leadership culture and pace of "progress" is undermining our ability to rectify many errors in a timely manner. Consequently the effects of accelerated advancements are causing unintended consequences. What has become difficult to gauge is not necessarily the immediate impacts but more so the imminent affects that are occurring at an ever increasing pace. The manifestations we experience today are a by-product of what originated from years, months, weeks or days before. Our current state of affairs may seem to be a result of our present dictates or policies but that is not reality. In the majority of cases, cause and effect is measured over time and most present manifestations are not a by-product of contemporaneous decisions. Even most external effects and issues are produced by internal expressions of energy that span the spiritual, mental and physical dimensions of our existence. These areas are connected and collectively associated with any and all consequences . ![]() The world we live in and the entire universe as far as we know is at such a balance that wherever there is a surplus of something; somewhere else there is a lack or need that such a surplus would fill. This includes everything from babies to beliefs. In other words any "excess" naturally produced will always compensate for a corresponding "void" that occurs somewhere else. This "Yin Yang" relationship is a common concept in dualism that describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and/or interdependent in some manner. We see this in the over-abundance of water from rains and flooding contrasting with the lack of water due to scarcity and drought. This is also evidenced as well with food and other life sustaining resources. How is it possible that we have an overabundance of food in some places, so-much-so that it is wasted; while in other places around the globe there is not enough? The reason is that as a dominate species we lack worldwide balance. We should feel ashamed that some rats in "first world" countries eat better then many people in "third world" countries. This man made imbalance can be easily rectified. The reason it continues this way is that the "Will To Power" among the elite (We that have influence or control) has been contaminated. This force applies to the ontological, organic, psychological and societal areas of life. Those of us who have studied Nietzsche or embrace the "law of equilibrium" are aware of this fact. As far as we know balance is universal. Balance spans all realms. Balance is often overlooked until the evidence of it being corrupted becomes apparent. We are now seeing this phenomena in climate change and global warming. Today we are observing multiple environmental forces striving to slowly re-balancing our atmosphere through weather while we debate the causes rather then take more "affirmative" action. The main purpose for all of our regulatory laws and agencies are to insure that we do not accidentally throw things out of balance. History is replete with multiple examples of our failure to maintain balance and its unintended consequences. Hence the formation of the C.D.C., the E.P.A., the F.D.A., the U.S.D.A. and the D.O.J. These agencies primary roles were to protect us from the imbalances that allow profits to take priority over pollutants. Even justice required balance because laws without ethical or moral support are just words on paper. There are an abundance of things that can affect our balance. Bad air, bad food, bad mental or physical health, bad water, bad national, political and social environments all affect balance. Hearing or ear issues, sleep and rest problems, head or neck injuries, blood pressure and circulation issues, even brain chemical and neurological conditions can affect both physical and mental balance. Balance can be a delicate process. Our being and bodies get balanced while we sleep. Sleep is a daily surrender that confronts us with our limitations. When we sleep we are helpless. In that unconscious state we are forced to surrender to rest. Even if we fail to embrace our own fragility sleep reminds us of our limitations in this life. Surrendering to the spirit (energy) of sleep is an absolute and necessary daily indulgence for us. However, indulging or allowing any spirit (energy) total dominance over us should only be done temporarily and must be done wisely. Balance must be applied to every human venture. Whatever we do in the name of profit or progress should be carefully examined and subject to the regulation of balance. Although both profit and progress are two great sources of motivation, the aggressive spirit (behavior) of such actions require some balance and restraints. This is not a criticism against striving for achievements. The effort and commitment to reach a desired outcome is to be commended. However, to obtain any goal at the cost of "others" involves turning a deaf ear and a blind eye to empathy. In this case "others" include people, animals and the environment. There is always a propensity for abuse in the absence of some form of consideration or regulation. Greed is not good and pride is not productive when these spirits (behaviors) are allowed to run rampart or are left to their own devices. Any spirit (behavior) is subject to the person it dwells with. Spirits (the energy of behaviors) should not run or use us, we are suppose to run and use them. The most important commodity under our control is our energy (ch'i). Although most people associate spirits (behaviors) with ghosts and other mysterious forces, spirit (behavior) and spirituality (the recognition of such energy) are a vital part of everything we do. Spirituality (the energy of all activity) is not about crystal balls, fortune tellers, mystical powers, palm readers or wizards, it is simply about how the universe connects. This earth, the solar system and the universe are both physically and spiritually in balance. ![]() Regardless of what our beliefs are in regards to personal, social, political or religious preferences, the one thing we all can agree on is that we only have limited energy resources to address them. Each of us has a limited pool of energy divided between our spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical existence. How we distribute that energy is totally under our control but it must be renewed daily. This is why sleep is so important. What many of us fail to realize is that these energies are divided up among all of the activities in our repertoire but must also leave just enough energy, for our spiritual renewal pump (sleep), to have energy enough to constantly refill our tanks and balance us. Complete fatigue can be fatal! and may require outside energy assistance if our reservoir becomes depleted. Failing to properly address mistakes creates a spiritual imbalance that has multiple unintended consequences. No matter how we respond to the commission of wrong; whether they be errors or mistakes we must be mindful of not throwing out the baby with the bath water! When drastic action is necessary to remedy situations its only because corrective measures and truthfulness was not previously exercised in a timely manner. Rooting out "bad weeds" becomes an increasingly difficult task when they're allowed to steadily grow. The consequence of not rooting out the "bad weeds" early allows them to grow into and intertwine with the roots of the "good crops." learning from our previous mistakes and even more so from the previous mistakes of others is one of the best ways of learning. When we fail to heed the lessons of the past we are doomed to repeat them. When our "culture of caring" allows us to ignore regulations, violate laws or bypasses restrictions we will certainly reap those results. Reaping is not optional. Reaping is the universal law of balance. Sowing and reaping or cause and effect will be visited upon us or our children whether we believe it or not. History does not repeat itself, we are the agents that repeat history. When we lower our standards in any one area we spiritually compromise our behavior in every aspect of our existence. Although we may not immediately see these effects there will be unintended consequences. Balance and bio-diversity is critical. We share the consciousness and effects from disease, environment, food, medicine, policy, politics, war and weather. We are the conscious of our current culture and our character is critical! Banning whistle blowers and witnesses limits all scrutiny and oversight. We know that power corrupts and that absolute power corrupts absolutely. So for the benefit of all, everybody has a responsibility to hold everyone else to our established standards. Whether we follow the teaching of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam or any other religion or creed, it is time to enforce our codes. The code of ethics, honor and morality has to be embraced as a part of our expression or we will face unintended consequences! Maybe we should all take a breath. With accelerated change comes accelerated consequences; and change may not be the answer. The answer may be to pause, stop or wait before we do anything else. What's the rush? Why are our spirits in such a hurry? Our attitude and response to any experience is what makes it a teachable moment if we take the time to learn the lesson. These warnings are being presented in a concise - matter of fact - and simplified way through applicable information. But information alone may not be a sufficient agent for change. Information allows us to recognize and understand what we are experiencing. However recognizing a fact or truth presented to us does not mean we realize the depth of such a revelation. Information must spawn recognition which must birth realization that results in action. If any of our readers wonder why we continue in the same vein, on the same path beating the same seemingly dead horse; it because we're building an ark and we need all the help we can get facing unintended consequences.

TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEMIn light of the seemingly present rash of untimely departures in both public & private forums we have decided to re-post & re-visit this topic. DEATH IS WHERE LIFE EXTENDS.![]() This is a re-post from May 15th 2019. There are some additions but most the contents remain unchanged. Life and death can be described as two parts of one experience. One cannot be experienced without the expectation of the other. Unfortunately many of us see life as a journey and death as a destination, but this is inaccurate. Regardless of how this may seem to be, it is not true. An understanding of homeostasis clearly illustrates that life's goal is to always move towards equilibrium among interdependent environmental elements. Simply put life syncs with and balances itself with other life. This is the way the universe operates. Death is not the end of life, rather an extension of it. In reality we all must admit that life is hard and death is easy. When life starts struggles begin. When someone passes their struggles end and pass along with them. It is the loved ones left behind that seem to struggle and take it hard. Their continued emotional mourning and suffering often postpones the future mention and celebration of the deceased. We all seek to sooth ourselves. When the anguish associated with this existence ends for "the deceased" why do we continue "it" by adding "it" to ours? We must acknowledge that as familiar as we are with death, in its common occurrence, we only have a limited understanding of the phenomena. Our vision can easily be obscured by pain. It is easy to embrace beliefs and superstitions that lack logic when we lack understanding. When we experience things that are difficult to accept or explain it is normal to create theories that account for them even if they do not make sense. Superstitious practices are based upon logical conclusions regardless of their accuracy.. Traditionally we fear death and regard passing as a difficult experience and so we do everything possible to postpone the inevitable. We fear the day of reckoning and dread the event. We expect that time to be associated with sorrow and mourning. We learned when to mourn from observing others mourning. Thinking that death is always associated with sadness became a belief. Any traditional belief can become an accepted practice if emotionally embraced. Remember, emotions are as contagious as cold germs and fear is like a flu. Memories hold the magic of any moment we choose. Memories themselves have a life of their own. Memories live through "lingering on." We can either decide to bottle them up or allow them to enrich us. When we say that "we don't want to think about it." That may mean that we have yet to create fond memories of the person or experience. Grief is an experience that is usually expressed in direct proportion to the amount of love invested. Suppressing the mention and memories of anyone denies us the opportunity to feel, experience and relive the best moments of the past, even if they are only lessons. The past is relived in the present through (M.I.E.) memory initiated emotions. No matter how difficult life previously has been it is never to late to make any previous experience educational in some way or another. Regrets only offer us the wrong reasons to remember. By reworking our memories it allows us to imagine and shape things in ways that are comforting even if they were not so. Reliving any moment in time in our minds and making it better the second time around is one of the most powerful abilities we have. It is common for a perspective to change when viewed from a new present mindset as opposed to an old past feeling. How we feel about history affects how we operate in the present and what we expect in the future. How we feel about and process difficult events over time is an indication of our emotional intelligence or E.Q. ![]() How do we get through the death experience and do we ever get over it? Can we ever be free of guilt, remorse or regret after such an event? Is it wrong to succumb to the seduction of depression? There are no absolute answers to these questions. There is no shortcut through or around the road of grief. We can package and store it or simply ignore it but eventually we will have to face it. Grief is a process and without confronting grief it is hard to grab hold of relief. However there is also relief through remembrance with renewal. There is joy in our soul if we choose to be free from sadness. Freedom is a state of liberty and power characterized by the absence of restraints. Besides having and maintaining multiple close knit relationships our social circle must cherish and embrace the memories of one another. Closely examining and rearranging the letters in the word "RELIEF" reveals "Re" as in renewal and LIFE resulting in RE-LIFE. It is written, even if not practiced in Christianity, that death is not final. If as Christians we cannot look forward to relief when a love ones passes, we certainly of all people are most miserable. (1 Corinthians 15:19) The problem we have in dealing with people "passing" is that we have the wrong definition of what "passing" really means. We have to understand that we are passengers "passing along" as we "pass through" and continue to "pass out." We like to think when people die (pass) that they "passed away" or "passed on." What do we think "passed away" implies? Away, "away where?" "Passed on"? On, "on to what?" The reality is that we're all "passing along," "passing by" multiple places and experiences as we "pass over" to the next one. Our bodies design is not meant to last forever. We are simply the occupants/passengers of our present body on the way to another. Isn't this the teachings of the Bible found in 1 Corinthians the 15th chapter? So why do we feel so bad when others "pass" before us? Death, although defined as the permanent cessation of an organism, compliments life. Death does not kill the evidence, essence or effect imparted which continues to impact us as long as we give it life. In reality death as we presently define it does not exist. Many people see it as the ultimate termination. There is no such thing as a final ultimate end to existence. The fabric of reality has a lot more depth and layers to it then we normally acknowledge. The spirit of water, the energy of thought and the harmony of existence are intangible forces that exist in perpetuity. Maybe this is why we see signs and feel the presence of loved ones who passed long ago. We can acknowledge or deny "spiritual" manifestations but they do exist. It's like the history of germs. Just because we couldn't see them didn't mean they were not there. Think about all of the avoidable deaths from infections caused by the ignorance of doctors. Think of all of the comfort and consolation overlooked, ignored or missed by the ignorance of those left behind. Yes they've moved on and passed through leaving us behind. The sadness we probably should be experiencing should arise from having to catch up to them! Existence itself is perpetual. Whatever "mark" we make is permanent! We cannot help but leave the evidence of our existence. That evidence is in fact the essence of life that lives on in our memories forever. Memories are precious if we celebrate and regard them as such! Death can be better defined as a separator and memories described as an assembler. There is energy inside memories like packets of data inside our computers. We simply need to open the programs and execute their code. Life goes on. Celebrate the life rather then morn the death. Let's Continue Renewal Through Celebration and Remembering! TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEMBEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER. THE PATH WE ENDEAVOR TO TRAVEL DOWN WILL BE TROUBLING. Most animals practice deception to deliberately mislead competitors and predators. Nature also provides many species with camouflage, coloring or covering as compensation. But the fact of the matter is that only humans lie. The desire to blend in, be accepted or not be noticed at all is a large part of our socially motivated drive to lie. As social beings our interactions among one another tend to create social stresses. Consequently, we respond to those stresses in ways that seem to present us in the best light even if it is deceptive. Although closely related, deception and lying have distinctions. They can be combined together or manipulated separately. Animals do not lie! Humans are the only species with the intellectual and spiritual capacity to LIE! The price we pay for lying is the corruption of our consciousness at a cost to our souls. Through accepting, developing and nurturing the "art" of lying we as humans now have the wiring to deceive both ourselves and others. When we become so engaged in managing how others perceive us we gradually lose the capacity to separate truth from fiction in our own minds. Too many of us fail to realize or acknowledge that lying is a spirit! Remember, spirits are invisible influences that manifest their attributes in the visible world. Lying is a fascinating "art." As with most things in life the more we practice lying the better we get at it. Behind every lie sits the truth in disguise. Our expressions in life are a reflection of the physical, mental or spiritual attributes of whatever we consistently engage in. Alcoholism and drug addiction may not be noticed initially but in time the attributes and behaviors tend to be apparent. In like manner we all eventually become the LIE we live and tell. "Birds of a feather flock together" has both natural and spiritual implications. The cliche "you are what you eat" goes well beyond food. We are more of what we think and say than anything else! The spirit of a lie is infectious. Whenever we believe a lie, we strengthen it and become a part of the lie which makes us liars as well. How is it that slavery was ever accepted, embraced and legalized by society? The answer is simple. People just believed the lie that all men were not created equal. All lies are birthed to the benefit of the liars. Anyone capable or eligible of sharing in a lie will find it much easier to adopt and succor that lie for personal benefit. It is important to realize that lying is a part of our nature. It is inherently in us and a part of a life long battle. Perhaps the "Theory of Mind," a by-product of studying autism can explain why we lie even when we don't have to. As humans we must be compelled to tell the truth. This is why our courts require us to tell "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth." In order to re-frame lying and make it palatable we have created the "white lie." The "white lie" opens the door to the "black lies" that the best liars tell. Every exaggerations is a lie. All lies are created in an attempt get around "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth." Lies normally work through misdirection to get around the "truth", omission to hide the "whole truth" and influence or deception to bypass "nothing but the truth." The spirit of lying is a first cousin of the spirits of compromise and deception. They function at the top of the spiritual hierarchy next to PRIDE. Many times lying spirits require the assistance of a spirit of compromise for leverage. Compromise allows us to prioritize benefits over beliefs in exchange for mutual gain. What makes lying so pervasive is societies response to it. In our laws and on paper we define it as an egregious and horrible offence, but in the reality of our every day dealings and interactions we allow lying by accepting its cousin excuses. Next to murder, lying is the worst "act" or "sin" anyone can commit. Whenever we catch a lie it is important to totally destroy it as they breed like flies. In court it's called perjury but it's still a lie. On "Wall-street" it's called insider trading but it's still a lie. In business it's called dishonesty but it's still a lie. In school it's called cheating but it's still a lie. In advertising it's termed misstating or misrepresenting but it's still a lie. These are just a few examples of the numerous ways we lie. As a society we tend to turn a deaf ear to the unlimited ways lies manifest. The ramifications of such a weak response to such an egregious act allows lying to flourish at every level of society. What we generally overlooked is the insidious nature that comes along with the spirit of a lie. We can call or name it whatever we like but whether it's a broken promise, a false statement or a failure to speak by omission (the silent lie), know this: That to concoct, cheat, distort, dupe, embellish, embroider, equivocate, exaggerate, fabricate, fake, falsify, fib, forswear, mislead, misinform, misrepresent, misstate, misspeak, omit, overstate, pervert, prevaricate, scam, slant, twist or anything the like of is lying! ![]() The anatomy of a lie can only be dissected spiritually. Every crime, misdeed, infraction, offense or sin is intertwined with some aspect of lying. There is no such thing as a little lie. We mistakenly quantify lies as "little white lies" or "bold face lies" and measure their effects on that scale. The real debate is not over whether it's fake or fact the real issue is whether it's truth or not. In reality lies have a spiritual nature and must be perceived that way. When dealing with financial impropriety we follow the money trail. When dealing with questions of integrity we follow the trail of lies. The main problem with lies and lying is recognizing the lie. Lying happens to be one of the most sophisticated and demanding "working" accomplishments of the human brain. The "act" of lying requires much more energy then telling the truth. Throughout history people have voluntarily confessed to crimes and misdeeds of all sorts in order to get relief from the pressure of holding and keeping a lie. Well if it's so burdensome to lie why do we continue lying? It turns out that lying is much more then something we just do; the spirit of a lie must become familiar to our spirit to keep the "act" of the lie alive. Lying is not only an action, it is also an act. Like a scene in a movie that is played out rewound and played over and over again. Even if the lie isn't necessarily repeated to another person it continues to be rehearsed in out minds over and over again. Once a lie is adopted in our psyche its spirit abides and seeks a higher rank within the hierarchy of our ethical, moral and spiritual values. The result of this new condition makes the lie believable and the stronger we embrace it the more credibility it has. This is one of the reasons we have difficulty in spotting lies and liars. People don't believe lies because they have to, people believe lies because they want to. There is a psychological/emotional payoff that occurs when we hear things that align with what we already believe. They don't have to be true but they do need to sound like they are. As human beings most of us prefer to hear a comforting lie then the painful truth. The ability to delete, distort or generalize information sets the foundation for a lie. We feel compelled to focus on the spiritual aspect of any phenomena because that's where the source of the force is located. There are and will always be an emotional and/or psychological side to the topics examined within these post. Although important, there is no shortage of information from those perspectives. What appears to be lacking, outside of church dogma and metaphysics doctrines, are the spiritual ramifications of life. A lie is a distortion. Lies and lying spirits distort and disrupt the balance that exist between all of the mental and physical elements of our being. Our bodies contain 11 organ systems; they are the circulatory, digestive, endocrine, excretory, integumentary, lymphatic, muscular, nervous, reproductive, respiratory and skeletal. Although each organ system serves a unique function, each system depends directly or indirectly upon the others. Most of these function automatically or involuntarily. Our "CHI," that is the energy of our existence, can be corrupted by lies. Many of our physical ailments, emotional and psychological struggles are related in some way to how various spirits are allowed to operate and influence us. This may be why most addicts are never totally cured. Even at social or recreational events they must be on guard. The level of rehabilitation that occurs at the physical and psychological levels may fail to address the spirit which is temporarily rendered dormant. These remedies require avoidance and total abstinence strategies rather then true healing. When we overcome a physical ailment like a cold or flu usually there are no permanent restrictions. Diseases of a spiritual nature cannot be healed through natural methods. This is why we monitor sexual predators as they are very likely to re-offend. As a result such spirits must always be suppressed, confined or caged to prevent their habitual resurgence. The probability of a relapse is ever present. The spirit stands ready to re-emerge and usurp its authority at the first opportunity it can find. Overlooking lying from any source for any reason is the most common way to accept lies. This is how these spirits flourish and grow. When partisanship overrides principles in politics it effects everyone. Taking sides is how we validate the lie that works in our best interest. The truth is always ready to break ranks with policy, popularity or profit. When lies are allowed for any reason we permit them to take spiritual priority over the consciousness of all who refuse to refute them. There is no neutral in the realm of spirit. We either adopt the truth or adapt to lies. The "liar," the instrument or source of the lies, is NEVER totally at fault. Every lie must first be breathed, received and believed to have life. Every individual has the choice to reject or protect any lie. Rejecting the lie does not mean rejecting the liar. As a matter of fact if we love the liar we will renounce their lies. This allows them to recognize the error of their ways as we set the standard for truth. We teach our children how to behave and how to discipline behaviors (spirits) on their own. When they fail to do so it is up to us to step up to the plate and help them to get those wayward spirits under control. There are no perfect people left on the planet. When the last one died he was crucified. It is up to us to GET up, STEP up and HOLD up a standard for truth at the cost of love. If not we will eventually pay for our lies at the price of our peace. ![]() TO INDULGE A LIAR IS TO SET A FIRE THAT MOST DOUBT WE CAN PUT OUT. TEXT IN GREEN ARE LINKS - CLICK ON THEM![]() According to the dictionary a coincidence is a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances that have no apparent causal connection with one another. A better way of putting it is to say, a coincidence is something that's not planned or arranged but seems like it is. The reality is that technically, a coincidence is a "natural" (normal) concurrence of events that happen at the same time. The one thing a coincidence is not, is an accident. The greatest disservice and distortion of the nature and ramifications of "COINCIDENCE," comes from the compounded ignorance of perpetuating the LIE that "COINCIDENCE" has anything to do with happenstance or luck. There really is no such thing as luck! The reality is that we make our own luck. Yes, we are saying that EVERY happening and occurrence in this life is a coincidence. Lucky, is the label we use when describing benefits that are seemingly unearned. Life functions through energy (ch'i). These forces work in, through and around us and everyone else. As energy connects, intertwines and interacts we see its results in the way things happen. Like weather we can predict many of its effects, but we cannot control it. What we do to our atmosphere and environment does affect it, yet it has a mind of its own. Try mixing vinegar and baking soda. The chemical reaction produces carbon dioxide, a gas. We can direct our own energy and apply it to any endeavor in life, but when we combine it with the energies of others its product becomes the result of all parties involved. Every event or occurrence in life has an origin or genesis. This is what is commonly called "cause" or" sowing seeds." The results that we experience, that is the manifestations, are called "effects" or "reaping what was sown." As illogical as this statement may seem, "in reality there is simply no such thing as an accident." There IS such a thing as an accident in terms of miscalculating intent, but there is NO such thing as an accident in terms of occurrences. Accidents are simply the child of two parents named "Cause" and "Effect." Believe it or not, NOTHING JUST HAPPENS. ![]() Destiny, fate, karma and providence are all words we associate with the things that occur in our lives whether planned or unforeseen. Usually we apply terms like these in light of how we believe they affect us but in reality they serve as foundations for our superstitions. People who think they can do or say something to jinx themselves or others, actually believe that at some level they can affect or control karma. If they thought things were totally out of their control would they really be worried about a jinx? This implies that we are in charge and in control of our lives free from fate. Why would anyone try so hard if their manifest destiny was already determined? Believing that our lives are predestined and that our fate is sealed means we accept whatever life dictates to us. Believing in karma implies that the sum of our actions in this or previous lives impacts our current life. Believing in providence as a decree through which the protective care from God or nature intervenes on our behalf is similar to a "life assurance policy." Being predestined for greatness or anything else is similar to being a prince in the line of succession to the throne. Even the guarantee of an inheritance does not exclude the necessity of having to learn the tenants of governing. Every prince must be tutored and taught to govern as a king. There is always an effort behind any achievement. When we take "Responsibility" for our efforts we embrace its twin brother "Accountability" as well. The twins, "Responsibility" and "Accountability," have no fear when it comes to confronting their arch enemies, namely "excuses" and "reasons." The twins will always accept "Blame" but will not allow their cousin "Blame" to be taken advantage of or used as a scapegoat. "Blame" is the focus of "fault." Many people try to use "Blame" to divert attention from themselves while simultaneously attempting to deny "Accountability" or "Responsibility." Not acknowledging either twin is not wise. There may be slight differences between them, but denying one starts a fight with both. "Coincidence" does not acknowledge the accusations that come through "Blame." "Coincidence" knows that circumstances are developed on purpose and not by accident. "Coincidence" the firstborn of "Cause" and "Effect" knows that there is no such thing as an accident! There are other members of this family Like "Faith" and "Works," a second set of twins. These twins wage the same battle that "Accountability" and "Responsibility" do. We can find them working in churches and other religious institutions. This is where people like to put "Blame" on GOD just like Adam did in the garden of Eden. Most people think that Adam blamed Eve for his actions, but the truth is that he really blamed GOD. COMMON SENSE & CO-IN-CI-DEN-CE
Most people call it fate some call it happenstance. Though many take the bait still others take the chance. That destiny though fickle we can m-a-n-i-p-u-l-a-t-e. Like laughs without a tickle we u-n-d-e-r-e-s-t-i-m-a-t-e. Is free will - true or not and karma really real? Can we use all we've got to make our lives fulfilled? Yes we do have a choice and we do have a say. So shall we have a voice or let it fade away? |
